Before I Lay Still...

Ramblings. Writing after three months, I guess :x

Ethereal nights 

with dreamless sleeps.

Still, every day, 

my sleep-laden eyes reveal 

the turmoils that have found 

their home inside my heart.

Day after day, my numbing brain

thinks of letters and alphabets

to form words that carry 

no meaning.

But still, I ramble on, 

in the hopes that all of this

will end somewhere...

That I, too, will have a happy end.

If not too soon,

then someday, somewhere,

before I lay still in the arms 

of my beloved...

I apologize for being out of touch. But I've been caught up in the real world. Tried writing after a long while because I was afraid that I'd lost my poetic voice. Still not sure.
