This is how I've felt lately with a new friend poignantly on my mind. I love how this poem feels like a sister to the last short poem by you that I reviewed just before this. I know you will relate to this -- being a control freak (me), I want to orchestrate what unfolds in my life, but sometimes pleasant aspects spill forth so unexpectedly, such a situation tosses me around with mirth. That's the sensation your poem gets across too (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Thank you so much for reading and your words here :)
Even I feel inspired after reading this beautiful poem! I really liked that you started off with a question, spiked my curiousity. Capturing petalled dreams in the tangled webs conjures up such a pretty image.
Very nicely penned, indeed!

A tangle web, if willing. Not a prison. A Black Widow web can be deadly for lover or not. I enjoyed your words and thoughts dear friend. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

You're displaying a bit of your romantic side within each of these lines. You've trapped a bit of creativity within the web as well. Interesting poem, Dr.

Thank you so much for your words here and for appreciating, Nev :))
This is a beautifully crafted poem, wistful and delightful, expressing both hope and hopelessness, a sense of being adrift on a sea of uncertainties, with no chart to show the way to the harbour...
Are we simply the playthings of the gods? Maybe, maybe...
Is the tangled web we weave better than the lines thrown to us by Fate? Who knows?

Thanks so much for your insight here, Jibey. Always appreciated.
Tangled web of thoughts that prolong tossing and turning through sleepless nights.
Life is in fact a journey on parallel lines, still... the presence of fellow traveler along that length makes all the difference. Lovely writing perfect in every sense. Your style is absolutely beautiful.

Thank you so much for the lovely review, Mrudula. I'm glad you appreciate :)
Beautifully agonizing in these transparent thoughts, the wishing, the wondering. The soul of your words reminded me of Serendipity, one of my favorite movies. How lives often pass, connect, and either wander apart or become in some ways tangled together forever. There are wishes here I hope find a way to awaken.

I'm really digging that picture Doctor Kay … a LOT! 🙃
And, to follow with a question is sheer brilliance in gripping the reader's interest right-off.
I'd say the odds are in your favor, should you decide as tomorrows come nearer and you find them as appealing as your yesterdays' imagined yearnings that propelled your desires, wants, and needs.
Still, in the realm of dreams, we seldom ever know … as revealed by aimless tossing and snickering winds.
You know my love for well-written Free Verse, and this is about as good as it gets.
Thanks for the delightfully poignant treat! ⁓ Richard 🍃

I always appreciate your sharings, too. : )
