Doc, I like this. I often do this, put some of my jottings together to see what they become. It seems kind of a simple reverie and yet there is an underlying uncertainty with the antagonist of your story, a questioning if you will.
P.S.
I'm pleased that Death evades you. Hopefully for years to come.

I'm glad you like it, Ted. Thank you so much for your thoughts and for appreciating :)
Beware those silent speakers I say and the games they play. You may be able to read them, but they play better. Drunken frenzies complicate the issue even more. That's where you took me Dr Y. All good wishes.

Poetic threads of random thoughts; unanswered questions and a sense of losing control (drunken frenzies) - interesting read and provoking write - .... nice... :-)

I like how you take this piece, Phill. Thank you so much for your lovely words :))
Here it feels like you've captured some of those idle moments when the oddest things flutter thru one's consciousness . . . well shown with imagery & questioning . . . kinda like thoughts bouncing against those flippers in a pinball machine. I try to wait until my thoughts line up, to write something. It's intriguing to think about showing those random mind pitter-patters instead *smile* Fondly, Margie

But I thought I'd try this approach too and see where it leads. I'm glad you were intrigued. Thank you so much for your thoughts here, BG. Always appreciated x
in "drunken frenzies" we are usually most honest and forthcoming.
the speaker here hides the truth no matter what...
hard to feel and understand someone who does this...
silence can be so loud...
