Quiet November Places

Quiet November Places

Quiet November Places

I no longer own my heart,
except for in quiet
November places, when
our hushed silences
intermingle...the irony of

situations does nothing
to help except to bring us
even closer (perhaps),
and I realize that
I no longer own my heart.

I found solace in holding
on to mere wisps of my
perceived images of you,
and this extra pillow around
which I wrap my arms in hopes

of feeling closer to you,
does nothing to help except
to bring me back to reality
(even more), and I realize that
I no longer own my heart.

I like to think it is somewhere..
somewhere safe, within
your grasp ...

You are definitely in 2s and 3s this week! I am not sure if we own anything of our self except our will. It seems as if the world owns our heart and soul..plucking our heart from the torture it beats upon our human form. twisting it and squeezing every last drop that it tries to satisfy its own hunger with...but I guess Im in that morbid state today and your in a loving lost beauty one where life and love feel like the wind blowing along ...just ahead of you...like a wayward kite...sorry Im rambling...not enough warmth and coffee yet. Your piece leaves me much to revel in. Thank you YumnaKay as always Im greatly satisfied and moved by your wondering wandering.
