As soon as I saw the title, I knew I had to click! *smile* Never disappointed! This one could be interpreted in a number of ways. Since you use such a picture to illustrate, the first thing that comes to mind when you write "test drive" is something I've experienced when trying to get amorous when I used to have a very possessive dog. But then I also think about the literal meaning of "test drive" & I see a blood-splattered driveway . . . I love playful macabre writing (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

It's actually for my best friend of 10 years now who sadly moved to live in the US some 7 years back but like they say, distance ain't a barrier ;) she loves cats very much and has two so far and keeps talking about wanting more, so I just kinda wanted to show her the other side of having a lot of cats in a humorous way haha ;P
thank you so much for appreciating this one as well! :))
Hahahaha this could be me when I turn 25(in 3 years!!). Well I've got the love for cats, and the slightly introvert streak to go with it. I think i check all the boxes for a future crazy cat lady! 😂

I do enjoy writing these very much. I'm glad you like reading them. Thank you too, Christine x
You are getting better and better at this limerick game my luvverly friend but just one word of caution... if you get any more adept, you might inadvertently find yourself caught up in a 'cats 22' situation and pullin more than just teeth, but poetic admirers too.............. N

my pleasure and remember... the tooth the whole tooth and nothin but.... N
Today is "Clear the Shelters" day here in California, where all adoption fees are waived in attempt to find homes for the homeless. I'm up to three cats so far...but that might change!
It sounds to me like your friend's heart is definitely in the right place. I've never attempted writing a limerick, but I love this one!

You seem to have taken to the Limerick form quite nicely … love the picture, font color, and choice, too.
