Garden Gnome (Limerick)

Fun write. Inspired by Christine Anne Shaw's poem 'If I Were Looking'.

There once travelled a girl to Rome

in search of guys she could take home

who knew how to pout

with his wits about,

all she found was a garden gnome!

Loving your Limerick, the rhyme and rhythm are so wondrously playful. And though you will find no gnomes anywhere near my gardens, when I walk my dog around the neighborhood here I see many a soul who might have just gotten back from Rome it seems!
