"You are loved" (?)

"You are loved" (?)

A Chapter by Dr. YumnaKay
"

Emotional ramblings. Something written out of spontaneity to clear off my mind and heart.

"
Do not believe for a second, if someone tells you "you are loved".

To be loved is something very few people deserve and even fewer who know how to hold on to that feeling. And no matter how hard you try, you always end up hurting the ones you care about regardless of your intentions. And when that happens, do not believe for a second that they'll understand your reasons. The phrase "out of love" is a lame excuse and certainly delusional and even harder to make someone believe that.
So, do not, for even a second, believe if someone tells you "you are loved".

'Tis a ruthless world we live in and we're all the sum of our selfishness.

Thank you for sharing your heart, whether recent or of the past. I feel your resentment and pain. We all experience devastating emotional reversals.....and we are able to relate..... This too shall pass.

Our dearest treasures come in varied form.
Like inclinations of our heart, that warm.
With greatest attentiveness they are worn.
Not often do they come, within a swarm.
~*~
Precious keepsakes often easily break.
Like loss of temper does our peace forsake.
Cannot our heart of glass, withstand a shake?
Deceits cause ripples, on that placid lake.
~*~
Empires crumble under moral decay.
Barbaric scruples then come in, to play.
Angry reactions cannot see the way.
Without true wisdom, we have lost our way.
~*~
So when we build our house of many cards.
We dread the dark tempest, out in our yards.
We might recall the wisdom of the bards,
when all our great treasures have turned to shards.

becoming bitter over hurts ...grieves the soul ... gives power over to someone or something else .. your note is piercing as your ... hmmmmm short story? ... prose? ......... your heart.... pulls me in to feel the pain and discouragement ... reeling to grab hold on something that will "make it better" ... i'm so sorry for your heroine ...heroine she, is says i ;) when our humanity seems so very low ...sometimes i imagine what God, our Creator, must feel ... if things break my heart ... what are God's tears like :(
this is obviously personal ... i am so sorry for whatever it is that has broken your heart ... i hope your journey through the pain brings you to a far better, stronger, wiser place ... don't forget ... pain and suffering are much more impactfull teachers than joy. i am touched by your honesty and the vulnerable heart you must have ... i hope to read more of this "stuff" in the future ..i am all for you Dr. ;)

I felt the pain of someone here who has been badly let down in love. So hurt that all trust has gone and the thoughts of being loved again have flown out of the window, as an impossibility. I am more trusting so if I am told "you are loved", I don't question it. I accept it. When trust goes, it can take a long time for it to return, but it can. In time, this intense pain will soften. It happens, I know. Your lines thought provoking and understandable.

Aching in the words... knowing they are too true at times. There is the love, and the silence of love letting go. And yes, too often our lives are lived in that ocean of self. Wishing, wanting the world to be so much more than that. Perhaps it can be, for those few. Perhaps...

Whatever is yours will always be yours. Anything that goes away was never yours even before. If you know this, you will be at peace.
