And you will encounter times when an eclipse is all you're left with overshadowing your life, when you'll lose count of the times you had it in you but fail at the brink of what you thought could have been success but I have come to realize this -- it matters not, none of it matters, whether you reach there or not, for you can still be there empty handed and life isn't exactly like a silver plate we're most often made to believe. There are no pleasantries you could go by except for what you think you have. And I have lost count of this and everything in between which came and is yet to come as I face another day.
Letting your words speak over me. The beauty and the suffering come, the victories and failures come, the wonder and horror come... and we go on... somehow. And in words like these, and moments like these, we share our humanity and realize we are all walking that same path, wishing, wondering, wanting for just another day... please let there be another day.

That epiphany, the dawning of reality can be unsettling- of how unsure we are of our standing in life, of how ephemeral equations can really be even if thought of to be the opposite hitherto.
Very thought provoking, Yumna. Thanks for sharing.
Best,
M.

Thank you so much for your words here, Mallika. Glad you appreciate. x
I liked the reflection on life and what life is and can be. I believe every action we do changes the world. We decide our path. Happiness or not. Happy or sad. Failure or success. Well written and you made the reader think. The goal of the writer.

I agree, eventually we're the ones deciding where we're being led to.

Advice to the young and the older fire sitters. It is also something that you repeat into the mirror as often as possible. This is not something to comment on as the wisdom speaks for itself, and so the writing is all that I am left to and you even took that away...lol. I will say that the structure and content almost reminds me of the notes left on a countertop of some suicide home, NOT that that is what I am implying or feeling because you do at the end "face another day" here.. but it is unique in that structure and again just a very well written piece. Great wisdom for young and old alike Thanks for the read!

Yes so very true. Life is given and taking, learning and teaching, sharing and help, and so many other things in between. Thanks for sharing. Ying and Yang called life simply.

True, I agree. Thank you so much for your thoughts here, Dee. Appreciated :)
Yes, and then we wake to another day full of failure, success, highs, lows. I wonder what my life would look like in a bar graph or a pie chart. Wonderfully written piece and personal comment. Life is a shady mother effer sometimes, but we learn to deal and fight back with a few tricks of our own. Loved this!!!
