Voids

Voids

A Chapter by Dr. YumnaKay
"

Tired ramblings.

"
And whatever we say, or however we react to situations, there's always a small part within us that keeps hoping for more. They say 'hope dies last'. I think it never does. It's invincible but it does leave us feeling vulnerable, right at its feet, crouching, grovelling down until every limb in our body spasms. And I feel we're never content with what we have. Maybe humans are meant to float in voids. Maybe voids are us.

'And I feel we're never content with what we have. Maybe humans are meant to float in voids. Maybe voids are us. ' You have such an intense interest in the invisible,

Surely voids can be spaces filled with unpainted areas that need more than initially given? Or, people who have the appropriate external shape but inside are a mess of self-made debris! You write few words these days but always leave thought to think. Please, never give up on your writing..

You describe the natural, unfettered human response clearly. In my spiritual studies lately I've been working on bridging the gap between thinking there should be more to life than this . . . & being consciously grateful for the abundance I take for granted, whenever I'm tangled up in longing. I would venture to say that the very human state of "longing" distracts us from living in the moment. Always love how thought-provoking your writing is (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

As your writing suggests, the mind creates and fills "voids." Voids are not where we live, but where we travel... between destinations. And, hope is our fuel, never depleted, as long as we breathe. I always enjoy reading your work.
