Cradle

Cradle

A Chapter by Dr. YumnaKay
"

Experimental. Spontaneous write.

"
Appearances swivel in
and out of focus.
I taste fear;

a hushed silence,
a whispered prayer.

I cradle a fear, irrational.
I cradle the heat,

in my skin,
you are alive...

i think what is alive in this poem is the fear...we personify it...we are intimidated too often by life...too scared to move...
fear is our baby---love has to grow out and away from that.
