Venom

Tired ramblings. To be edited/added on later.

And in those three words, 

flowed the venom which drowned

harsh. very harsh. theres nothing worse than to be classified, shelved, labeled and slapped with words meant to push you down. and youre right, it burns our heart and soul with that venom... bleeding its way making our heart become paralyzed and immobile! gah... whoever made the saying "sticks and stones may break my bones but your mean words cant hurt me" was on drugs... or somewhere over the rainbow. gah. Imma flip this around... Women like you deserve better! women like you are smarter than him. women like you have a future! women like you have better things to do than be idiots.... i like this yumna :P women like you should write more often ;)

This kinda happened to me recently. Not these same words, but similar sentiments. There's a certain kind of latent insecurity I run across, making it impossible for some men to wholeheartedly embrace a "woman like me"! Behind compliments there's a feeling (like in your msg) that negates the pretty words & caresses (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

I feel the generalization on both parts is just too wrong. Although I do identify myself as a feminist, I don't doubt that there are men still who think differently than this mindset. But then, there are women too who have difficulty accepting women like me or you, and where the actual problem lies, sadly.

I guess I gotta master that still. .. My writings are a mix of everything, I think. Though I'd still refer to them as ramblings.
