Palpable

Palpable

A Chapter by Dr. YumnaKay
"

Ramblings of a raging mind. Written with an angry/disappointed mindset. Not really thought over structure. To be edited later.

"
we have thrown
the curtains, of uncertainties
now washed ashore.

Everything is new,
everything is palpable
in your eyes;

everything is not
how it seems

and I am dust
particles in air,
my breath, anesthetized.

I silently scream
my disapproval.

Everything crumbles,
we are mere ashes
in the distant storms.

When sadness and pain overtake us. No-place to go.
"Everything crumbles,
we are mere ashes
in the distant storms."
The above line, hard and so true. Thank you my friend for sharing the powerful poetry.

Was my pleasure and you are welcome dear Poet.
Your tumbling imagery delivers the idea of being tossed about in a vat of conflicting sensations. This could be the poster child for two people coming from completely different directions! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Such intense words, wondering 'if'.. Sometimes, you seem to echo my thoughts, don't know how.

You're welcome.
interesting how it is when one part of the couple thinks everything is just fine, being so unaware that the cracks are getting bigger, and the other is drifting away.

Interesting interpretation. Thank you for your words here, Jacob. Appreciated.
The words here reek of frustration... and the format made it even more compelling, it almost felt rebellious.
