If you died tonight; I'd be so sad so don't you ever die, yumna hahaha. You know what I like to call this type of poetry? Mom poetry ;) nevermind me ignore that hahahaha! Idk, I'm probably over thinking this but this is making me kinda sad. Either it's the thought of you dying or the jealousy of who you originally wrote this for. Hmmmmmmmmm jk!!!! :P nice one. Thumbs up. Applause. Yeet.

You awaken such a deep, wild moment, reflecting on the now, and all that has been in this wondrous breath. It is both soft and tender in the love lingering, as well as fierce and strong in the remembering, lifetime to lifetime clinging to Love's light. So beautiful. Tears before dawn, and that's okay.

I gotta admit, I almost teared up on this one... Your choice of words and the way you wrote this poem expressed the words and emotions intended in the poem and made the readers feel what you wanted them to. Amazing job Yumna! :))

I'll be honest, I don't really write for the readers or with the intention to make them understand what I wrote, but it's certainly nice knowing they do :)
Thank you so much for appreciating :)
This brought to mind a new artist that I've discovered: Rag N Bone Man. He has a song with the lyrics: "When my skin grows old, and my breath goes cold--I'll be thinkin' 'bout you." I like yours much better - and there is no mistaking your "sweet" and "tender" take on things....
I would bet my Netflix account that you have a phenomenal bedside manner.....

PS I don't get your 'phenomenal bedside manner' reference, but I'm single ;P ;)
if we have been touched by another human...we can die happy...it isn't about what we own, what we amass...things don't touch us like that...people do.
i love the brevity of this...you open doors for the reader to walk through on his or her own.

Thank you so much for appreciating and your lovely words here, Jacob :)
Perhaps this is how life as well as love should be: using words wisely because - they might be the last you speak to someone.. even in losing touch for some inexplicable reason. Once said, words are hard to erase from mind, from memory. Your language truly gives and gives in this poem, dear you. You wrap your emotion around another being and he or she grows sky-high.
