looking for solace in my words??? she is naive ;))) of course thats not how i read this Dr. you leave the place of solace completely to the reader ..could be a hot bath..hot tattie, hot momma ;) my first thought is to my Bible and prayer ..my greatest place of comfort ...you poem starts with innocence ..then a realization that comes from experience ... and then a more real turning to someone either in person to talk to ..or perhaps a poet one especially "hears" ... such a simple poem that sparks so many avenues for me.. i think of trying to guide my children who suffered that anomaly of in love with love .. oh such dread i had ..especially for my girls ...whats a dad to do? ;}

Thank you so much for your lovely review. Appreciated :)
This is a simple straightforward few words about an idea many people have experienced, but reading this made me shudder. I squirm to think back on when I was THIS naive about love. Now I'm so jaded, I'm not sure if I'll ever find my way back to a happy balance. I love how your poem sounds so fresh & honest & without guile or conniving (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
Ohh!! something I can relate to so very well!! I can be as naive as You can dear Yuman lol to be sweetly naughty in love adds more excitement, so keep that little girl of You play here and there sometimes, sweet and lovely one, thank You*
