Ramblings of an exhausted mind. Short diary entry...
In silence I wander, to distant places of my mind, probing, exploring the depths of the cavernous labyrinth. It frightens me, of what I'm capable of; of what I have so far gone through. I could not be sane - after all that, after everything, this body, this face, with a half smile etched across, though hollow, feels like an accomplishment.
This is what catches my attention: "it frightens me, what I'm capable of" . . . I notice that, in situations where people have countless options, sometimes it can be paralyzing. It can be easier to have limited options . . . and such people do not question their path or choices as much, I think . . . (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Hope and the human will are mighty forces, as so eloquently conveyed in his piece. It's difficult to comprehend, and defies nature, that we're stronger with each struggle. It's indeed an "accomplishment" and one to celebrate. I always enjoy your work!

Reading your journey, following those pathways that wind through you into the deep places, the dark places. Even there I believe you'll find light, etched joy you've never known. For the farther on you go, the more of you will be found. A miracle indeed.

There is a game here called Balderdash... but it does not have the depth of you, my dear friend. :)
we are all miracles in some way....and we also find often that we feel a miracle to still be sane after all we have gone through...but we still question that sanity...i wonder if poetry keeps us on that fence, hanging on with precarious balance.
