Phoenix out of the ashes

Phoenix out of the ashes

A Chapter by Dr. YumnaKay
"

Today marks a year of my joining WC and writing. Rambling as usual ...

"
There will be times --

when you'll think a break is what you need; to unplug, to rewind - yourself, your thoughts, everything around you ...

when you'll see the whole world drifting away, slipping through your very fingers, out of sight, out of mind ...

when the need to control everything that you've ever wanted just seems - out of control ...

In times like these --- a phoenix out of the ashes ~ is born.

These words really touch the mind and heart, YumnaKay... like a gentle yet daring venture into a space not explored before. We all crave for newness at times.. escapes too... new ideas to be worked on, prayers to be answered. One can't control everything one wants, life's not like that. Guess it's a waiting game.. but finding the way to move on.. that's what matters.. as you say.. the phoenix rises....

Whilst you poem touches sadness, need, your words inspire and encourage. Thank you.

Quite motivational and Pheonix makes it more deep. ;)
Life seems out of control but then, we are the only one who know how to hold on. And make things better.
Every writing of yours is ~A great emblematic of spirit and inspiration.
Not Rambling for me. Loved it as usually.

Hopefully, so, at least. All the variants we experience can sometimes be so frustrating. Observing myself, I have found no reason or cause for fluctuating moods, creativity, or dumb luck.

Amen to that prayer my friend. Your story is spiritual, inspirational, hopeful and deeply moving. The metaphor of the phoenix Rising is an important and relevant one. It has always been special to me. Thanks for this poem Dr. YK!

Thank you so much for appreciating, Annette :)
I know this feeling well as my country (USA) dives into evermore intense strife & tragedy & divisive rhetoric since our last election. I totally get the ending twist as the way we find new strength or new resolve or new understanding in the midst of crisis, when we feel like giving up & are suddenly inspired to keep fighting on. I just noticed you added "Dr" to your name . . . did you just earn your doctorate or have you had it awhile & just now including it? Anyhow, this is a very well written antidote to our troubled times, so thanks for this, Dr! *smile* Fondly, Margie
