In the heart of solitude ~ I reside

listening to the gentle humming of birds at dawn,

to your words hanging in midair creating waves of dismay 

yet etched on my mind,

to the soft, ecstatic moans that cross my lips, 

causing my chest to heave and fall; rhythmic

I reside, in the heart ~ of solitude

Yes, so true, dear Yumna. I am very much and introvert (INFJ), so though I love people and speak in public with no anxiety, I need solitude to regain my balance. It is healing and life. Your words awaken the light of it.
