As the dawn rises ~ I fade 

in the distant afterglow clinging to the silhouette, 

tracing all the way back to your faint outline ...

 my words ~ flow; forming an invisible bridge 

to overcome the unseen barrier time created 

between you and me

I fade ~ as the dawn rises
