the nightly sky,

this hazy mist

~ 

lifted

while

I am

getting accustomed;

as

I sense a rancid, 

putrid smell ... 

mistaken for ---

 the perfume of your love ~

Love/Hate- the two sided coin so well-expressed , by scent!, in this poem. The "perfume of your love" morphs into "a rancid, putrid smell" of love lost...yes! Perfect!
