Hatred - a powerful emotion - which burns not only the one at whom it's directed but also the one from whom it comes.
A natural reaction for people we develop an instant dislike is to keep on hating/disliking them. It does not only take the positivity away from us but also a significant space in our heart which could have been filled otherwise by loving more and more people who really deserve to be loved.
A rational reaction - the people who've hurt you, they should cease existing for you. An empty space, a non entity. This brings not only peace of mind but also the reasoning that they were never meant for you. Then why care enough to remember them, especially with such a powerful emotion as hatred? It would only signify their importance in your life while they probably don't give a damn to what you think...
My point - make space in your hearts for the people you love. There are a lot of good people to remember...
Hey did you know if you look up 'hate' in the dictionary there's a pic of my face there?lol jk ;) wellllllll that line about hating them is like them being important made me question my life severely... My whole lif has been a lie.... Illuminati confirmed!!!!!!!! Hmm or perhaps we remember them because "nemo me impune lacessit"? They wronged us and we demand punishment on them? Idk about you but a nice sweet revenge always puts me to sleep at night. I forget them after.... But love isn't so different from hate-
same as love and war. Isn't hate kinda like a war? I think hate is sort of a one on one mentality battle of emotions. It's confusing and often people get in the crossfire. Like so, you also hurt yourself...
Ah love and war....

Hatred is a sickness. Life is too short to engage in it. I like your method of addressing this topic, and how you choose to not fight fire with fire but take the high road.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and for appreciating, Clifford 😊
Knowing there are several people I love on this website who are tangled in such crossfire judgments, I find myself feeling lucky that the haters don't bug me anymore. But I've known these feelings & you've expressed them well. I agree that hatred is just a bottomless pit that will suck everyone dry. Your conclusion is the only wise one that leads to survival & celebration! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Today when i opened writers caffee web site. I was really shocked how much comments of hate and rage some people can make. I think here is so many wounded people only what they need is love. Yes hate work on both side like victim and abuser are in suffering. We should love more each other here. We should have compassion for other souls pain. I like how you describe feels who also hate. We are all victims our experience but we can chose to be more good. Love is only way lets never explore in anger but let it pass and make calm reflection. When somebody hate they ussually hate with reason. But hate is not answer for anything even on hate atack. Thanks for this writing full of compassion and love.

So painfully and beautifully true. Hatred is fire, and it only burns all who come in contact with it. It fuels the flames of strife in families, with friends, and the ferocity of wars. But as I read your words, and then again, I sense your kind, healing heart breathing out wisdom to pour our energies into love, and loving those who are lights in our world. When that becomes our focus the hatred no longer has fuel to feed on, and we find the universe much sweeter and warmer in wonder and grace. Thank you for helping us find this path, dear Yumna.

Yes, love is the cure; hatred is only ever the disease. I can only wish that more of the world would find your words and live in them. For now, I will send more of dear Rumi's words for your evening: “Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it." May it be. 😊
This is so true, and hits a great time for me to read it. There should be no space in our hearts for hate, although at times it is necessary to walk away from those we care about because they are toxic or have hurt us, we still don't need to hate. We only hurt ourselves with that kind of emotion and using that kind of energy. This is a great reminder to people. A great read. Thank you for this.

Hatred - a powerful emotion. Like a punch in the face, this one hits you between the eyes and says 'Hey look at this'
This part 'A rational reaction - the people who've hurt you, they should cease existing for you. An empty space, a non entity.' - VERY VERY TRUE. Once you smell a rat or someone is up to no good then dont give them the time of day anymore - stay as far away. The words you used were SPOT ON.
Hatred is a strong emotion BUT sometimes it cant be helped.
No change this/change that. This piece doesn't need any of that. It's perfectly penned.
Mark.

totally agreed with the knowledge u wanted to impart... why should we bother about those if they never valued us... eliminate their bad memories as well, they don't deserve to acquire a little space in our heart which they actually obtain in this way...
