We definitely need the person we love but is it the other way round too? Do we really love the person we need? This seems like an unanswerable question to me.
It is said that love makes you blind. Weak. But I say, real love doesn't. It makes you stronger. And powerful.
The differentiation between love and need comes when you realize that needing someone isn't loving them.
You're just being selfish. You want them for yourself. Being possessive does that to you. It makes you go blind.
Truly loving someone would mean acknowledging the fact that they can be happy without you as well. Need makes you use them as a crutch to hold on to. They become a necessity for you. It makes you think you can not even breathe without them. But of course you can. You just need to look around.
