Beautiful Mistake

Beautiful Mistake

A Chapter by Dr. YumnaKay
"

Rewritten.

"
Can mistakes be beautiful?
I used to think this some time ago.

Then I met you, and you were
my first ever mistake, in a beautiful sense...

I tried hard not to collide with you,
yet I fell head over heels ~ for you.

Walking step by step
along your side.

Accidentally
touching - your fingers.

Stepping
over - your shoes.

Trying
to grab - your hand.

Pretending
- to fall.

All these mistakes...
but in a beautiful sense.

The only mistake
I never regret is to be ~ with you.

Because you are,
my one and only ~ Beautiful mistake ...

or Cam's "you're my mistake to make all night"

others might warn us, but even when they don't work out...mistakes are in our memory bank and most without regret.

I can be philosophical at times too ;)
This reminds me of the song title Beautiful Disaster. I believe beauty is in imperfections. A person who is perfectly beautiful has no mysteries left to explore.

I'll have to listen to that song.. And I agree, some imperfections are what make it more beautiful.<.. read more
If you make a balls up of someone's teeth it won't be beautiful but some mistakes can be. Your little scenarios were full of fun and innocence. They're lovely.
This is pure romance.
Well done.

Thank you for the kind words! It means alot! Thankyou for liking ☺
Lovely and sentimental! This may not happen often but when it happens it turns out that contradiction refuses to give up. Love conquers such odds.

Liked it!

I agree! One can only dream.. Thank you for liking and reviewing ☺
Sometimes we need these mistakes in our lives to remember and learn along the path we find ahead. They never make sense, until we find ourselves with the choice of another possible future mistake....or would the mistake be walking away and never finding out?
We all have them, yet can only find out they are a mistake with taking that chance. Nicely captured.

Yes I agree.. Thank you for liking and reviewing ☺
I like the sentiment of this piece.. The image painted of the girl trying to gain the heart and attentions of the boy she loves, to keep the relationship going was simply detailed, but clearly. Nice work..

I do agree with you. Best mistake is the one whom we love the most, but it could also turn to be the worst mistake, if we let that person go away from our life. Overall, I really love your work :)
