UntitledA Story by Yume_Maju_The_Dream_Witchjust feel like writing now will continue as I go onLivie Ortess watched the forest from her open bedroom window. It was dark, even during the day it seemed no light made it's way to the ground floor. A thick wall of bark and leaf that made up only the outershell of a seemingling impenetrable fortress. People of the village said the forest harbored horrible witches and fairies that fed upon those who strayed from the one path that connected the village to the outside world. As the trees danced in a stray breeze it seemed as though the villagers stories might in some way be true. The place was drenched in magic, every rustle of a leaf or crack of a twig whispered secrets that you couldn't understand. Livie felt a chill as the breeze hit her face carring the wispered language of the trees, it always left her with a nagging feeling as though it was a half forgotten language and the meaning was just skirting at the back of her mind. © 2008 Yume_Maju_The_Dream_WitchAuthor's Note
