You look at me with eyes

   so magical,

it tears my heart in two.

I feel myself drawn to you

as if you're calling to my mind

   in a voice I can hardly hear.

 

You look at me with eyes

   so soft,

it caresses my soul in ways

I have never before imagined.

as if your hands were on every

   inch of my body, heart and soul.

 

You look at me with eyes

   so sad

it brings tears to my life.

I want to take you in my arms

as if we could hug for all eternity

   and that gesture alone would solve all problems.

 

You look at me with eyes

   so full of light

it causes me to smile

making me dream of only you,

as if in your imagination you have

   created the answers to everything.

 

I want you to look at me with eyes

   so full of love

that I can do nothing but

look upon you with an equal

amount of that same love

   and all of the future will look bright!
