Seroquel Nightmares

Seroquel Nightmares

A Poem by shiloh jennings

a song written Aug 14/15 2001

CHORUS:
processing away my innocence
processing away my youth
processing away my absence of faith
processing away my truth

I don't know what I'm telling you
but I don't know how to lie
It all seems so useless now
'cause I don't know how to die

and as time washes over us
like the eye of a hurricane
we drudge about our daily tasks
that somehow seem more mundane

the blissful ignorance of the unknowing
happily join the end of the line
here baby, please take your pill
and everything'll be just fine

touch me once, you'll touch me twice
careful baby, don't get burned
childhood is what we take for granted
and I know we'll never learn

it doesn't look that way right now
soon it'll turn back to dust
all toys to the puppet master
doing as they think they must

I wonder silently through the night
why it is you hear his command
and never ask your questions
don't you long to understand?

This poem would make for a good song. I use to take seroquel for my bipolar disorder, the title is very fitting. Thank you for sharing. Debileah
