Suicidal Tendancies...

Suicidal Tendancies...

A Poem by shiloh jennings
"

written sometime in the late 90's

"

It slinks into your consciousness
like a thief
  down a dark alley.
You know it will be there
  but you don't see
You fear it
  yet never really believe
Not you, it can't happen to you.
Like the sleeping,
  you are safe
  from things that go
      BUMP
  in the night.
Uncharted possibilities
are out of the
    contents table
because you just don't believe,
not you, it couldn't
  happen to you
and so it slinks into your
  consciousness
like a thief
  down a dark alley
and you know for sure
  it will be there
but you just wont
  see...

I understand the feelings here in this poem. A dark and lonely road we travel at times. Very well written. Thank you for sharing. Debileah

This is great. So many people have been here and to know that they are not alone is a comfort. Thank you for writing this piece.
