To turn the other cheek is not that of which I speak,
but to turn thine face upon the light
and glow, even from the darkest sight.

The wisdom does not fall upon deaf ears; you hear the call
and will rise to the occasion as needed
with all the words to which you have heeded.

Death is but a new beginning from which your mind is spinning,
It isn't those who pass on that carry this torch,
But those left behind; already foreseen Icarus scorch.

Faith is a trust in something unknown thats helps you be less alone,
but it isn't of the Holy kind that I narrate,
instead faith in yourself is at the front gate.

Across the sands of your lifetime or hers, or his or mine
We've drawn the road-map from our leaders
In the final hour, lost is not where we'll teeter.

Spread them -- your wings of change and future things
For I know you not but still I believe
From your instincts They can never leave.
