Journey

Journey

"

in earth we shall be bound
'til the heavens found
our cries never heard
across the lines blurred
for cosmos destined
are not journeys end
merely stumbled blocks
carving sidewalk chalk
from axons in the brain
pathways towards insane
to wander through dark
while light crests the arc
as the final event horizon
shows only nobody won.

This was a nice write. Short, simple, and to the point.
