two angels

two angels

A Poem by Alliswan

Blackened heart
shattered glass splinters
piercing flesh
scarring skin in the most beautiful way

pretty pictures
painted with blood.
two angels crying with their wings
crossed in intimacy
they share a forbidden, lonely love
tears flow freely
they are terrified of falling again, so hard
the blackened heart softens to
mere flesh and blood
able to love again
