12. Seperation of Light (Morning of Hopes)

12. Seperation of Light (Morning of Hopes)

A Chapter by Sir Drift & Mr. Pulse

I am the Sun

Rays of fury, beams of strength

Shine of beauty, pound of intent

I wake at morning and leave at night

To with the clouds all wicked fight

I am no stranger I am a star

For this here rainbow is a scar

Of revolution against the wind

For with the Moon I have sinned

I hide no shame for I still shine strong

I kissed her under the stars, nothing wrong

But as a wrath I pay a wrong done

That is how every morning I sing this Song

To the Moon my beloved whom was taken away

Back when in the past there was no night and day

There was only light but now separate it will stay.

I love the wordplay between the sun & the moon, which reminds me of an eclipse . . . (by the way, on Aug. 21, 2017, people across the United States will see the sun disappear behind the moon, turning daylight into twilight) . . . so your message is timely, too! *smile* Very much enjoy the playfulness of your sun & moon dance of light.

Rainbow as a scar? Ah you tainted my image somehow... I'll never look at it the same way again..

I think this is the beauty of the night and day..separation of light is what demarcates them in our eyes. Beautiful concept btw.
