A Chapter by Sir Drift & Mr. Pulse

I dressed you with flowers, put stars in your eye

Gold painted hair, snow on skin

Rainbow on your lips where raindrops die

Roses on your cheeks, there is no Sin

Mountains on your fingers, rivers in your veins

Ocean in your heart, red as wine

This love that stains

A seal that’s mine

Clouds on your feet, stairs of crystal

Moon and Sun on your chest, left and right

Lungs full of sparks, lightning bristles

Thunder in your mouth, fire passion bright

Crowned your head with beautiful aurora

Diamonds on your ears beautiful glow

Tree in your stomach, fruits and flora

And there a planet inside slowly grows

Incense of love perfumed my soul.

This is a compelling & originally-stated message. I had to go back & check the title after reading it, then the connection hit me. This is an imaginary lover. Your descriptions are nicely teetering on the edge of outlandish, but also brushing more conventional understanding, so that the overall portrait is "out there" in a delicious way.

"Incense of love perfumed my soul."

Love does feel like that and we feel drenched in the perfume only too often...

"This love that stains"
I like thinking of love as a stain for regardless of if good or not, there will always be affects of it on our heart. Every love influences us, whether negatively or positively. Great read as usual :)
