found and lost

found and lost

A Poem by Cole Tarrence

the cold touch all too fimilar
sliding her thin old boney finger down my spine
the touch so cold it cut straight to the bone
I find myself all alone
she is the only one thats ever been there for me
she may be cold but, she understands
she's allways here
she foregives when you curse her
she takes a way the pain
her coldness makes me numb to the world
how could I leave her
why did I ever try to escape she made me who I am
I chased after you so long but why my everything was here all along
with here I'm complete
why did I ever try to escape her cold embrace
maybe I was seeking something that I already had
maybe I just lost my way
