You lay in my arms, as it was the last time.

Tears fall down my face, sliently crying.

You're so unaware of what's about to come.

You'll be gone by the new sun.

You look up at me with those big eyes.

Reassuring me, that it'll all be fine.

But inside, I think you know.

But we already had time, for our love to grow,

But I guess, it didn't work.

And now it hurts.

As you lay in my arms,

But what we both didn't know wasn't kind.

When you last laid in my arms was the last time.
