Fate can be so cruel when it's wrong.

Which one of us gets the blame?

Now we fell

And it’s not the same.

 

We both tried to make this work

Can't say we didn't try

But why does it hurt?

 

So now I'm all alone

Waiting for you to call

Waiting by the phone.

 

And I bet you're waiting too

Waiting for me to call

But you know I never do.

 

Is this fate tearing us apart?

Should have we both known

From the start?

 

Fate can be oh so heartless

Making us hurt fall apart

Too Bad it’s gonna win.
