Instead Of Love

Instead Of Love

A Poem by Aru Bansal

As waves keep rolling back the tide,
with sunset’s on
horizons ride.

With darkness sunshine has gone missing,
beneath the stars
found lovers kissing.

Held real close with heart’s entwined,
a world in turmoil
left behind.

No thoughts of what was in the past,
has sought for love
to find at last.

Such love when found no man can fake it,
or angel dare
to come and take it.

If stars instead of love were shared,
it just could never
have compared.

Thank you, Sir.
The rhyming of this poem is outstanding. There was a very nice flow due to interesting use of words and enjabments. The title kept me, the reader, thinking, and when you get your readers thinking it's always good. The set you described while talking about love was almost perfect, very relaxing. Great job ! I'm glad I read it :)

And I'm glad you liked it. I appreciate your review. Thank You.
Aru: Instead Of Love...interesting title, suppose the ending is representative. No doubt you are so talented, smooth lines that flow so perfectly, such rhythum, and you take the clique out of love poetry. What a vision you have provided me with such gorgeous words and magical imagery. I don't have to tell you as I'm certain you know, the market for your poetry is far reaching like the stars, and if you continue, you will go far...silly rhyme, that's as far as I can go with love poems, but you have the ability to grab hold of hearts, so please continue writing, and touch hearts with your passionate words. Thank you. Dale
