I know he wants to kill me, I’ve seen that smile before, Those arms that want to break me, And leave me bleeding on the floor. His eyes they stare right through me, Unblinking in the light, Those eyes, they wont release me, Yet I feel no fright. He stays there in the corner, Where he sat to rest, That smile is set upon his face, An invitation, not a test. I press his steel upon my wrists, Red bracelets to match his, There is no pain, no fear, no more, In the end there’s only this. So we’re smiling, always smiling, Glassy eyes that see no more,
