Writing...
Humanities engraved history,
on the tips of our fingers,
on the tip of the mind
It's a beautiful art, isn't it?
How someones soul,
personality,
beliefs,
style,
Is expressed with a language
Of course, I do not
I do not limit
Limit to words...
Body language is the writing of the body
Music is the writing to decorate time
Facial Expression is the art of writing and interpreting...from the crust of a soul
Writing is not what you just think it is
It. Is. Pure. Art.

Why do I write? Ok... since you asked:
1. Because as it turns out I won't become a Jedi but I love adventure so now I can fabricate my own.
2. It's fairly anonymous and I can vent and whine a bit without anyone I know feeling as though they need to try to make me feel better (I hate it when people do this).
3. Sometimes it just comes screaming out of me and there's not much choice.
4. It's convenient; it doesn't cost me anything and I can do it while sitting in front of my computer desk in my underwear.
5. No calories; I find that as I've gotten older I need hobbies that don't include more cheesecake, pizza, etc. so in a sense it's for health purposes as well.
I agree. Many reasons to write. I have needed writing and reading since I was seven years old. Jack London make me want travel. Kosinski made me want to see and test life and Ben Jonson made me wish to create masterpieces. I believe if more people wrote and read. A better understanding of our world. Thank you Jonathan for sharing your words and your thoughts.

I write to turn what once seemed like a flaw into one of my best traits. Having a brain that never seems to quit can be taxing on a person. I would get so constipated with my thoughts because I had no proper outlet for them. Reading and writing are beginning to help. Reading shows me I’m not alone and there are people out there who think a lot just like me. Writing helps purge the mind like you said. Getting my thoughts onto paper really helps. Sometimes I’ll write something and read it back and be amazed that I wrote it.
1) to express the unkown emotions
2) its a healing process
3) helps you connect with others on a deeper level
4) yes, create a world which you want, without any limitations
5) we can bring smile to other person /also tears... words have its own special way to touch the soul...
6) finally writing gives me wings to fly free.... :)
i think that's why i write .....
