On that which will remainA Poem by Young Left Hand
and in such a time
when the chalk lines that once showed foul from fair have long since been blown away when the skeletons of our great cathedrals remember not an anthems note In such a time I wish you to know... that which will remain. Though shiny still we may stack automobiles one hundred high to miraculously stand up in the sky Its worth of that below all cost merely awaits the mighty winds toss. Yet somewhere close but too deep to find is a grand awakening in a childs mind Though the sun be cursed and we pray for rain there will be things that will remain. © 2013 Young Left Hand |
