Sullivan's Island in Winter

Sullivan's Island in Winter

A Poem by Young Left Hand

A fog so thick in swirrling winds
it could choke
the light right out of the moon

you press on the path
disavowing fear
as destiny never springs too soon

a light far off from your nameless position
a gentle reminder
your not alone

light rubs through the fog so brash
like calused fingers through foriegn silk
winds keep whipping
wild as fire
air as pure as mothers milk

a light far off from your nameless position
a gentle reminder
your not alone

A light in the fog is always a good omen. I love the way you've described the winters chill as well as the feelings hope by knowing that the light will always be there.
"foriegn" should be "foreign" =)

Great piece of ink! Thanks for sharing your creativity!
