Lost

Lost

A Poem by Lola
"

Nothing connected us but lips that could touch and mouthes that could speak.

"
Nothing connected us
but lips that could touch
and mouthes that could speak.

I was lost at sea
Asked the fish around me
Where you went

Splashed
Hit by the waves
Shattered
Integrated slaves

Ship of duty and ship of doom
I have unfortunately
Become a broom

Clean up your acts
And fragile tacts
Dust off your ash
And eyelash drafts

Drink your liquor
And smoke your mary jane
We will never be
The same
Again

Forget about everything

We were nothing
And turned into
deeper devoured nothingness

Maybe nothing took us somewhere
But i'm lost at sea
And i'm lost
By a rampage the ended me.

I enjoyed reading this. Nothing like reflecting on something that appeared to be, but never really was. Good read, and an even better job. :)

Some very interesting thoughts here. And some great lines too.
I like the way you think and write.

thank you for your feedback. I appreciate it xo
Wow. Dark and hopeless. I know you are a young woman Lola. I sometimes forget what it was like to wake up to life as a young person and try to find hope. Your poem refreshed me to reality. It kept me interested. I enjoyed reading it.
