Balloons

A Poem by Duncan Young
"

An acrostic defining BALLOONS

"

Blow them up with helium
A treat for both the old and young
Lifting in the air so high
Lofting up into the sky
On their way to other places
On the wind to other spaces
Not landing ‘til they lose their gas
So they no longer support their mass
