Don't want to dream.

Don't want to dream.

A Poem by Lexy Barton

I don't want to dream,

or even fall asleep.

Cause the feeling for you,

It's in too deep.

I long for just one kiss,

And dream of your touch.

And when I come back to reality,

The truth is just too much.

I walk around every day,

Love heavy on my heart.

I've always felt this way for you,

I've felt it from the very start.

Every day I picture you,

Holding me so near.

And then I remember where you really are,

And shed a silent tear.
