DreamsA Poem by sealIt sprinkles me with watered lips to bid goodnight with a loving kiss...It slowly rises into the air, To brush my wings, caress my hair. It sprinkles me with watered lips To bid goodnight with a loving kiss.
Somehow it lulls me off to sleep With it's endless music, endless sheep. Invites me to dreamland now and then Upon a time and time again.
Dragons, fairies, mermaids, too! Castles with lots for me to do. Sadly, my dreams aren't like this. Dreams like these, indeed I miss.
But the morning comes with a golden smile. I haven't seen one like this in a while. It greets me again, with the wink of it's eye. The rain is gone, the grass is dry.
And the silver lining of imagination, Takes over the world of God's creation. During the day, and certainly night, Girls and boys dreams their dreams just right. © 2012 sealAuthor's Note
