A Poem by seal

"hey doc," she said
"get out of my head.
i'm sick and i'm hurting
and wish i was dead.
i don't want to hurt you
but at the rate this is going,
you can see through inspection
the illness is showing."

"hey doc," she said,
her eyes at the floor,
feeling more nervous
than ever before,
"i trust you completely
but i can't be sure.
this isn't something
i think you can cure."

"i'm sorry," she sighed.
"it's okay," he replied.
she looked away quickly
with tears in her eyes.

"with treament," he sarted,
"you should be okay.
but try to get out
at least twice a day."
she looked up and nodded
and wanted to say
"i'm really just tired
of feeling this way."

but she got up and said,
"thank you," instead,
slowly placing
her hat on her head.
"i appreciate you
and all that you've done."
he smiled at her, said
"you're welcome, hun."
