Oumou suggests that Ambrož spend the night at her place. Oumou glances at Ambrož with irresistible eyes, eagerly awaiting his answer. Ambrož speaks nervously. Ambrož Line 1) U-Uh. Are you sure? Oumou answers encouragingly. Oumou Line 2) Yeah. The only time we’ve spent the night together was when I passed out at your place on Thanksgiving*, then on my birthday* when I fell asleep on your chest when we were cuddling on the couch together. *Refer back to that episode 33, line 116, etc. *Refer back to that episode 36, line 121 and 122. Oumou Line 3) Dozing off with each other is nothing new, but we’ve never had a full-on sleepover, as in sleeping beside each other in bed. Oumou gently grabs ahold of Ambrož’s hand, glancing at him with puppy dog eyes. She speaks in a soft tone, her eyes melting fulfillingly. Oumou Line 4) I want to cuddle with you~ Ambrož’s face flushes red. Oumou elaborates in a sentimental manner. Oumou Line 5) I wouldn’t want to spend the first day of the New Year any other way. Oumou Line 6) I just want to be with you, Ambrož~ Oumou Line 7) I know you’re only a door away, but I still miss you. Oumou speaks timidly. Oumou Line 8) In fact, this may be a bit embarrassing to admit, but ever since we started dating, I forced myself to get used to sleeping on one side of the bed, just in case the day came when we would share a bed together. I even snagged some of your perfume once and quickly sprayed my pillow with it so that it would smell like you, eventually returning it to avoid getting caught. Oumou glances at Ambrož in shock. Ambrož speaks in a frantic manner. Ambrož Line 15) O-Oh. You’re probably mad that I used your perfume, right? In that case, I’m sorry. Oumou reassures Ambrož in a tone of delight. Oumou Line 16) No need to be sorry. I’m just pleasantly surprised that you would do such a thing. It’s so wholesome~ Ambrož smiles at Oumou shyly. Oumou gets something else off her chest to gain closure from Ambrož’s judgment-free input. She speaks in an apprehensive manner. Oumou Line 17) Okay. One last confession. This may sound weird… Oumou Line 18) When I was hanging out at your place one day and accidentally spilled a drink on my shirt*, which led you to lend me your shirt to borrow*… *These details were not explicitly written in the story. She speaks jokingly. Oumou Line 23) I’m a weirdo, huh? Ambrož places his hands on Oumou’s face, rubbing her cheeks gently with his thumbs. He speaks in a tone of consolation. Ambrož Line 24) Not at all. Your sweet gestures make me feel so special~ Ambrož speaks in a manner of pleasant surprise. Ambrož Line 25) I just didn’t think you thought of me to that point. Oumou glances at Ambrož confusingly. Oumou Line 26) What do you mean, “to that point”? Ambrož Line 27) I can't explain why, but it just seemed to me like we were living in separate worlds whenever we parted ways. Ambrož Line 28) But now, knowing that you've made the effort to sleep on one side of the bed and even use my shirt as a pillowcase, all for my sake, makes me feel extremely valued. Ambrož continues holding onto Oumou’s face affectionately, tracing his eyes around her facial features. Ambrož Line 29) Thank you, Oumou~ You have no idea how much precious things like that mean to me~ Oumou’s eyes curve into an expression of sadness. She speaks in a tone of disappointment. Ambrož leans in to give Oumou a ticklish peck on her forehead. She glances at him sentimentally. Oumou Line 41) So, are we going to have a sleepover, or what? Ambrož smirks at Oumou in excitement. Ambrož Line 42) Why don’t I do my nightly routine first and then swing by your place when I’m done? Oumou speaks agreeably. Oumou Line 43) That sounds like a plan! Ambrož makes his way over to his porch. Oumou glances at Ambrož yearnfully. Oumou Line 44) I’ll see you then. I can’t wait! Ambrož speaks in a tone of exhilaration. Ambrož Line 45) Me neither. Just hang tight. They part ways, unwinding for the sleepover. After Ambrož finishes his shower, he stuffs his blankets and pillows into a bag, exiting his apartment to go into Oumou’s. When he knocks on her door, she opens it quickly in happiness. He observes her sleep attire being festive plaid pajamas and a protective hair wrap for her curly hair. She glances at him happily, observing his attire as well. Oumou speaks joyfully. Oumou Line 46) This is the first time we’ve seen each other like this, huh? Ambrož replies cheerfully. Ambrož Line 47) Yeah. That thought just dawned on me, too. You look so cozy~ Oumou forms her hands into a frame gesture, placing it over Ambrož as she gazes through it. Oumou Line 48) You look the way I thought you would. Ambrož tilts his head to the side puzzlingly, wondering what Oumou means by that. Oumou explains herself reassuringly. Oumou Line 49) Don’t take that the wrong way. I’m just saying that I didn’t take you as the kind of guy to wear a pajama piece set. Oumou Line 50) You seem like the kind of guy who just throws on some random pants and shirt and calls it a night. Ambrož speaks in a timid tone. Ambrož Line 51) TMI, but I just sleep in my boxers. Oumou’s face flushes red. Ambrož speaks awkwardly, trying to make a joke out of the remark. Ambrož Line 52) But I wouldn’t dare stand by your doorstep practically naked, right? Oumou speaks nervously. Oumou Line 53) I-In this weather? Heck no. So, get it here before you freeze to death. Ambrož enters Oumou’s place with his belongings in hand. A thought dawns on Oumou. Oumou Line 54) Actually, I forgot that you don’t feel cold*, so I guess you really would wait at my doorstep half-naked if you could, right? *Refer back to episode 34, lines 42�"51, etc. Ambrož shrugs playfully. Oumou notices the bag Ambrož lugged into her place. She speaks curiously. Oumou Line 55) What’s the bag for? Ambrož Line 56) Oh. I brought over my pillow and blankets. Oumou speaks in a tone of reassurance. Oumou Line 57) I could’ve supplemented that for you, though. Ambrož Line 58) I’m a blanket hogger. Oumou tilts her head to the side in confusion. Ambrož Line 59) If I don’t enclose myself with my blankets like a cocoon at night, I won’t sleep. That night you fell asleep in my arms on your birthday was the only exception*. *Refer back to line 2 of this episode. Ambrož Line 60) That night, you supplemented the same comfort to me as my blankets~ Oumou lets out a chuckle of amusement, glancing at Ambrož giddily. Oumou Line 61) Aww~ You’re too sweet~ I’m the same way. Thanksgiving and my birthday were the only exceptions as well. Good thing you brought extra blankets. Oumou speaks suggestively. Oumou Line 62) Do you want to watch TV or something before we head to bed? Ambrož speaks in a favorable manner. Ambrož Line 63) I’d much rather just talk to you in bed. Cuddling and whatnot. That is what you mentioned earlier. Oumou speaks flusteredly. Oumou Line 64) G-Got it. Let’s get situated then. Ambrož smirks at Oumou playfully. She leads him to her room shyly. He looks around it in adoration. Oumou speaks teasingly. Oumou Line 65) Why are you acting like this is the first time you’ve seen my room? Ambrož speaks in a tone of appreciation. Ambrož Line 66) It’s been a minute. But this is my first time seeing your room this year. Oumou nods her head reasonably. She speaks curiously. Oumou Line 67) What side of the bed do you want? Ambrož speaks flirtatiously. Ambrož Line 68) What side have you been saving for me? Oumou glances at Ambrož timidly. Oumou Line 69) The right one… because you’re my right-hand man. Ambrož speaks gratefully. Ambrož Line 70) Aww~ How sweet of you! I don’t have a preference but thank you very much. Oumou opens her covers, letting Ambrož get situated on the right side of her bed. Ambrož spots the pillow that Oumou uses his shirt as a pillowcase for*. *Refer back to lines 17 and 18 of this episode. Oumou swiftly grabs it to hide it from Ambrož. Ambrož speaks in a smug manner. Ambrož Line 71) There’s no point in hiding it when I already know the truth. Oumou tries to match Ambrož’s demeanour. Oumou Line 72) Touché. But either way, I won’t be needing it since I have the real deal right in front of me. Ambrož smiles at Oumou flusteredly. She slowly gets herself situated on the left-side of her bed, awkwardly laying down beside him. She gets herself covered in her blankets comfortably. Ambrož turns to face Oumou. Oumou’s face flushes red from the flustering angle. Ambrož speaks in a teaseful manner. Ambrož Line 73) Getting cold feet? Oumou explains herself flusteredly. Oumou Line 74) N-No. It’s just suggesting new things, and then actually going through with them is so different. Ambrož speaks in a tone of defeat. Ambrož Line 75) Are you insinuating that this isn’t how you imagined sleeping beside me in bed was going to be like? Am I below your standards? Oumou reassures Ambrož frantically. Oumou Line 76) N-No. This is just grander than I imagined, so I’m not as prepared as I thought I was. Oumou Line 77) I didn’t think that I would be this flustered when we’ve known each other for 3 months and have been together for more than a week*. *Remember that Ambrož and Oumou got together on her birthday, which was on December 22, 2004 (refer back to episode 36, lines 98�"100, etc). Ambrož speaks embracingly. Ambrož Line 78) Exactly. We’ve been together for more than a week. It’s completely valid to feel flustered by something like this. Oumou speaks teasingly. Oumou Line 79) Why aren’t you flustered then? Ambrož speaks in an affectionate manner. Ambrož Line 80) I’m more ticklish. I feel warm and cozy~ Ambrož speaks in a tone of surprise. Ambrož Line 81) It really has been more than a week since we’ve gotten together, huh? Ambrož speaks happily. Ambrož Line 82) 3 months is a quarter of a year. We’ve made some hefty progress. Oumou speaks excitedly. Oumou Line 83) And we have our whole lives ahead of us to make some more progress~ Ambrož smiles at Oumou cheerfully. She smirks back at him in joy. Ambrož speaks playfully. Ambrož Line 84) You know. You said you wanted to cuddle me, yet we’re just lying beside each other. Oumou blushes, explaining herself shyly. Oumou Line 85) Well, since we’ve only been together for more than a week, it should be more than enough for me to lie beside you, right? Ambrož speaks encouragingly. Ambrož Line 86) But is that really all you want to do? I know I don't, especially since we’ve cuddled together before. Oumou glances at Ambrož flusteredly. Ambrož broods playfully, pouting his lips out at Oumou. Ambrož Line 87) You can’t just suggest something and then not go through with it. You’ve got my hopes up. Oumou indulges in her desires, speaking agreeably. Oumou Line 88) You’re right. So, how should we do this? Ambrož speaks suggestively. Ambrož Line 89) We can do it in all sorts of ways. I can cuddle your back, you can lay on my chest, or vice versa. Ambrož Line 90) So? What do you want to do? Oumou brings herself closer to Ambrož, looming over him as he turns over to lie on his back. Ambrož blushes, feeling flustered by the position the both of them are in. Oumou embraces Ambrož’s torso, gently placing her head on his chest. A surge of fluttering sensations washes over Ambrož, feeling exhilarated. Ambrož wraps his arms around Oumou’s body, burying his face into her shoulder. Their blankets collide together, meshing into a cozy cover that pleases both of their standards. Ambrož lets out a sigh of delight, engulfing himself in Oumou’s presence. Ambrož Line 91) You smell so good~ Oumou lets out a pleasureful chuckle. Oumou Line 92) You’re the one who smells so good~ Ambrož speaks in a tone of happiness. Ambrož Line 93) I couldn’t imagine a more perfect night. You’re a genius for bringing this up. Oumou speaks encouragingly. Oumou Line 94) I know~ We should do this more often~ Ambrož’s eyebrows loosen in satisfaction. Ambrož Line 95) We definitely should. I feel like I’m in Heaven~ Oumou laughs joyously. A thought comes across her mind, her eyebrows shifting into an expression of guilt. She questions him sadly. Oumou Line 96) … Ambrož? Ambrož speaks curiously. Ambrož Line 97) Yes, Oumou? Oumou speaks apologetically. Oumou Line 98) I’m really sorry for not telling my parents about our relationship*. *Refer back to episode 40, lines 38�"53, etc. Oumou clenches her fist in remorse. Her eyebrows furrow in regret. Oumou Line 99) I bet you felt crushed realizing that today. Words can’t describe how sorry I am. Oumou speaks in a sentimental manner. Oumou Line 100) You’re so important to me. I should’ve told them about you the second we got together�" Ambrož cuts Oumou off, reassuring her cheerfully. Ambrož Line 101) I’m not upset with you, Oumou. I pieced together on my own why you didn’t tell them about me, so don’t you worry. Oumou looms over Ambrož, caressing his face affectionately. He smiles at her in joy, holding her hand as she touches him. She speaks in a fond tone. Oumou Line 102) Know that I care about you more than anything~ Ambrož speaks reassuringly. Ambrož Line 103) I know, Oumou. Know that I care about you more than anything as well~ Oumou lies back down on Ambrož's chest in dejection. Oumou Line 104) Ugh. I still feel horrible.
