Ambrož and Oumou delve into a melancholic topic, the both of them sharing a mutual feeling of wanting reassurance with time. Ambrož speaks in a somber tone. Ambrož Line 1) I agree. It feels intimidating knowing that everything has a time limit. Ambrož Line 2) Knowing that this is our first and only life heightens that feeling of intimidation tenfold, too. Ambrož Line 3) How are we supposed to know how to go about this existence of ours when we don’t have things figured out? Ambrož speaks in a manner of frustration. Ambrož Line 4) The sad truth is we rarely ever get to live anymore. Ambrož Line 5) Life has become all about survival. Ambrož Line 6) The majority of our time is taken up by things like work, school, sleep, getting ready, blah blah blah… Ambrož speaks in a tone of irritation. Ambrož Line 7) That only leaves us with a short amount of time to actually do things. Ambrož Line 8) But we’re also limited with that because practically everything costs money. Ambrož Line 9) Thus, the vicious cycle repeats. Ambrož Line 10) We really could’ve made things simpler for us, yet we chose the hardest route possible for some reason. Ambrož Line 11) There’s rarely any time for a proper breather. Ambrož glances at Oumou, assuming that she's bored from the ramble he just gave her. He speaks in an apologetic manner. Ambrož Line 12) Sorry for the gabble. I didn’t intend to get deep suddenly. Oumou speaks reassuringly. Oumou Line 13) Don’t be sorry. You’re allowed to talk however you please. I didn’t find the conversation to be a gabble at all. Oumou speaks sadly. Oumou Line 14) All you said was the truth. It’s a shame that things are the way they are… Oumou speaks in a hopeful tone. Oumou Line 15) But, since this is our only life, we should just make do with what we have, right? She speaks in a manner of passion. Oumou Line 16) Sure, things suck, but the good that this life brings is honestly worth it. Oumou Line 17) I can attest to that because the time I am and have been spending with you feels utterly enjoyable. Ambrož touchingly smiles at Oumou, speaking affectionately. Ambrož Line 18) I can attest to that, too~ Oumou happily smiles at Ambrož. The both of them arrive at the restaurant, exiting the car after parking it. Oumou looks around the restaurant in delight, speaking in a tone of adoration. Oumou Line 19) This place looks amazing! Ambrož speaks in an agreeable manner. Ambrož Line 20) It does, doesn’t it? They get seated at a table, order some drinks, and take a look at their menus. Oumou shyly peeks at Ambrož through her menu. He catches her gaze, glancing back at her happily. He speaks in a tone of curiosity. Ambrož Line 21) Have you figured out what you’re going to order? Oumou speaks in a flattering manner. Oumou Line 22) Not yet. I’m still looking. But do you want to know what I just realized? Ambrož nudges his head, wanting for Oumou to proceed with her answer. She speaks timidly. Oumou Line 23) This is our first dinner date together. Oumou speaks in a tone of excitement. Oumou Line 24) We’ve gone on other dates and have definitely eaten out together, but this is our first classic date. Oumou Line 25) It would’ve been our second if I hadn’t had complications arriving at our first, but here I am to redeem myself. Oumou speaks in a manner of disbelief. Oumou Line 26) So much has happened within a week of getting to know each other. Ambrož looks at Oumou in shock, speaking in a tone of surprise. Ambrož Line 27) I can’t believe that it’s only been a week. It feels like it’s been longer. Oumou speaks agreeably. Oumou Line 28) Right? I feel like I’ve known you for a while when, in reality, it’s only been a week. Ambrož speaks in a manner of compassion. Ambrož Line 29) I like how time feels slow with you. Ambrož speaks appreciatively. Ambrož Line 30) It gives me the chance to properly savor our moments together. Oumou speaks in a tender tone. Oumou Line 31) I feel the same way. I could really get used to our dynamics. Ambrož speaks in a gratifying voice. Ambrož Line 32) Me too~ Things have been fun~ Ambrož speaks encouragingly. Ambrož Line 33) Go all out, okay? Don’t hold back~ Oumou speaks playfully. Oumou Line 34) You go all out too~ The both of them continue scouring the menu, trying to find what they want to order. Oumou’s eyes land on the perfect dish for the night, speaking eagerly in anticipation. Oumou Line 35) I’m going to get the ricotta and spinach filled ravioli. What about you? Ambrož speaks in an enthusiastic manner. Ambrož Line 36) That sounds delicious! I’m going to order a sea bass with mushroom cremini sauce. Oumou speaks in a joyful tone. Oumou Line 37) That sounds very tasty! Seems like you really know your stuff, mister! Ambrož lets out a soft chuckle. He speaks in a curious manner. Ambrož Line 38) Feel like ordering some appetizers? Oumou speaks reassuringly. Oumou Line 39) That’s alright. We’re here for the main entrée. Their waiter swings by their table, letting them order their dishes. Oumou speaks in an appreciative tone. Oumou Line 40) Thank you for bringing me here, Ambrož. Ambrož speaks in a welcoming manner. Ambrož Line 41) It’s my finest pleasure~ A thought comes across Oumou’s mind, spurring a conversation of surprise. Oumou Line 42) It’s crazy fathoming how the year is almost over. Ambrož speaks agreeably. Ambrož Line 43) It is, isn’t it? 2005 is just around the corner. Oumou speaks in a manner of curiosity. Oumou Line 44) Do you feel like sharing your New Year’s resolution, if you’ve even come up with one yet? Ambrož releases a sigh of contemplation. Ambrož Line 45) It’s honestly been the same each year. I want to get to the bottom of my lifetime goal*. *Refer back to episode 22, lines 46 and 47. Oumou speaks in an inquisitive tone. Oumou Line 46) Even though your brother and you are on bad terms at the moment? Ambrož speaks in a manner of determination. Ambrož Line 47) Yes. I want to get to the bottom of it even more now because of my brother and because of you*. *Refer back to episode 23, lines 87-92, etc. Oumou tilts her head in a puzzling way. Ambrož speaks in an eager manner. Ambrož Line 48) On top of that goal, I also just want to let myself do whatever I feel like doing. Ambrož Line 49) This is the first time in my life I’ve ever really been able to have that sort of freedom. Ambrož Line 50) Before, I would abstain from practically everything. Ambrož speaks in a resilient tone. Ambrož Line 51) Now that I’m free to do whatever I want, I hope that I’m able to live the life I’ve always imagined. Ambrož Line 52) Though it’s not the ideal and preferred time to do this in my current condition, I don’t feel like waiting any longer. Ambrož speaks in a hopeful manner. I assure you that what your future has in store for you is even bigger than what you could ever imagine. Ambrož speaks reassuringly. I’ll grant your wish to sign a record label, and you’ll become the mega-pop star you’ve always envisioned to be. Would you let me grant your wish? Oumou speaks in a stern tone. Oumou Line 85) As appealing as that opportunity sounds, I’d have to decline. Ambrož glances at Oumou in pleasant surprise. Oumou speaks in a manner of determination. Oumou Line 86) I would be cheating if I used you. I need to accomplish my dream fairly. Line 87) Ambrož’s inner thoughts: Since I have the power to compel*, I was thinking of using that ability to help Oumou get a record deal. *Refer back to episode 6, line 72. Line 88) Ambrož’s inner thoughts: I could genuinely make her dreams come true with the snap of my fingers. Line 89) Ambrož’s inner thoughts: And, honestly, if those were my dreams, I wouldn’t hesitate either. Line 90) Ambrož’s inner thoughts: But that wouldn’t be right. Line 91) Ambrož’s inner thoughts: That would be like if I made Oumou fall in love with me. Line 92) Ambrož’s inner thoughts: At this moment, I could easily do that, but I want what we have together to be genuine. Ambrož speaks in a faithful tone. Ambrož Line 93) You’re doing the right thing! Oumou smiles at Ambrož happily. Ambrož Line 94) I'm confident that your righteousness will make your dreams come true~ Their food arrives, and they dig in together, enjoying their meal. They finish their food with the waiter swinging by their table again to collect their plates. They speak in a tone of encouragement. Waiter Line 95) Dessert? Ambrož and Oumou glance at each other to confirm their answers, speaking in a polite tone. Ambrož and Oumou (together) Line 96) No, thank you. They exit the restaurant, heading back to Ambrož’s car. They drive to Oumou’s place, slightly unwinding when they arrive. Oumou speaks in a manner of satisfaction. Oumou Line 97) Dinner was amazing. I’m so stuffed. Ambrož speaks in an agreeable tone. Ambrož Line 98) Me too. There most definitely wasn’t any room for dessert, though. A thought comes flooding back to Oumou, prompting her to question Ambrož. She speaks in a timid manner. Oumou Line 99) Um, this is random, but remember how I mentioned you’re always welcome to stay at my place*? *Refer back to episode 27, line 47. Oumou Line 100) You mentioned being “out of my hair” after our date*, yet you’re still here. *Refer back to episode 27, line 46. Oumou Line 101) So, does that mean you want to stay? Ambrož thinks to himself, replying assertively. Ambrož Line 102) The offer is very considerate of you, but I can’t. I should definitely find a place of my own. Oumou speaks in a suggestive tone.
