Přemysl looks at Ambrož in horror, watching excruciating pain weaken him to the ground. Ambrož bends his back forward, scrunching his hair in torment, with his eyes and body trembling in anguish. Přemysl crouches down to his level with extreme worry engulfing his face. Line 1) Přemysl’s inner thoughts: What do I do? Line 2) Přemysl’s inner thoughts: Do I feed him my blood again like last time*? *Refer back to episode 1, details listed after line 102. Line 3) Přemysl’s inner thoughts: Is he suffering the repercussions of worker’s exhaustion again*? *Refer back to episode 1, lines 98�"102. Přemysl grabs Ambrož’s back frantically, trying to turn him over, bringing his wrist towards his mouth to bite into it again. Ambrož musters up the strength to grab ahold of Přemysl’s wrist to stop him while he winces in pain, drooping his head in exhaustion. Přemysl looks at Ambrož in shock, wondering why he’s stopping him from helping. Přemysl speaks in a tone of concern. Přemysl Line 4) I’m trying to help you! Why are you stopping me?! Ambrož looks Přemysl in the eyes, glancing at him in desperation. Přemysl’s eyes bulge in shock, looking at Ambrož in disbelief at the color of his eyes. He covers his mouth in shock, looking at Ambrož in immense confusion. Přemysl Line 5) Y-Your eyes…! Ambrož speaks in a tone of concern. Ambrož Line 6) What is it?! Přemysl speaks in unease. Přemysl Line 7) THEY’RE RED! Ambrož looks at Přemysl in disbelief. Line 8) Ambrož’s inner thoughts: This can’t be… My eyes are RED?! Ambrož gets hit with another sharp pang that targets his gut. He lurches over in pain, aching from the amount of agony he’s enduring. Přemysl feels a familiar sensation come over him as he observes Ambrož in pain. He shakes his head no in denial. Line 9) Přemysl’s inner thoughts: It’s been 24 hours since he’s consumed my blood. What else would explain this predicament? Přemysl places himself in front of Ambrož, patting his head in consolation. Ambrož glances up at Přemysl, yearning for help. Přemysl observes the dark shade of red that engulfs Ambrož’s teary eyes, along with the purple veins that fade in and out. He looks at him in a somber manner, trying to process Ambrož’s transformation. Ambrož speaks in a desperate manner, his voice quivering in pain. Tears slide down his cheeks in torture. Ambrož Line 10) Make it stop! It hurts! Přemysl speaks in an empathetic tone, filled with grief. Přemysl Line 11) I know it does. I’m so sorry… Přemysl Line 12) The pain in your gut that you’re feeling is because you’re hungry. Přemysl Line 13) Let me go get you something to eat. Hang tight. Přemysl gets up to leave, but Ambrož grabs his wrist in desperation. Ambrož Line 14) Don’t leave me! Přemysl’s eyebrows furrow in guilt. Přemysl Line 15) It’ll be quick. I’ll be back before you know it. Přemysl briskly runs in a superhuman manner* to scavenge food for Ambrož. *Refer back to episode 2, line 35. He quickly comes back with a dead rabbit in his grasp. Ambrož glances at Přemysl in horror. Přemysl tries to speak in a reassuring manner. Přemysl Line 16) It wasn’t easy for me either. It still isn’t. But this is something we have to do to continue. Přemysl speaks in a tone of anguish. Přemysl Line 17) I’ll explain to you another time how I know this, but if you don’t feast on blood on your first day of transitioning, you’ll die. Přemysl Line 18) Just like I mentioned, blood fuels our bodies the way food and drinks do for humans*. *Refer back to episode 3, line 56. Přemysl pleads in desperation. Přemysl Line 19) Listen to me for once. You can’t die, Ambrož! Ambrož’s lips quiver in sadness. Přemysl Line 20) I already did the hard part for you. You just have to eat. Přemysl crouches down to Ambrož’s level, holding the rabbit closer to him. An expression of remorse engulfs Ambrož’s face. Přemysl punctures a wound on the rabbit, causing blood to gush out of it. The gushing blood ignites hunger within Ambrož, his eyes glowing red, his purple veins fading in. Přemysl speaks in an encouraging manner. Přemysl Line 21) Don’t restrain yourself. Eat. Ambrož apprehensively places his lips onto the wound of the rabbit, tears continuing to flow down his cheeks. His hunger impulses take over, unrestrainedly forcing him to suck on the wound to consume the rabbit's blood. Přemysl observes Ambrož sadly, watching him devour the rabbit gruesomely, but understanding empathetically that it's an impulse he can’t control. Ambrož finishes draining the rabbit of its blood, his eye color returning to its original hazel shade and his purple veins fading out. Ambrož looks at himself in disbelief, observing the bloody mess he made. He glances around in horror, feeling like a monster. He bursts into tears, feeling utterly hopeless. Přemysl sits beside Ambrož, patting his shoulder in consolation, as he lets out deep sobs. He speaks in an apologetic manner. Přemysl Line 22) I’m so sorry. Some time passes, with the both of them trying to calm down. Ambrož finishes his cry session, his eyes puffy and red, staring at the ground numbly, not knowing how to be with himself. Přemysl hugs his knees, sitting in silence with Ambrož sadly. The both of them gaze at Přemysl’s lantern’s fire as the only source of light in the dark forest. Přemysl speaks in an apprehensive manner. Přemysl Line 23) It seems you died when I tried to save you yesterday. Ambrož glances at Přemysl in disbelief. Přemysl speaks in a somber manner. Přemysl Line 24) That’s the only conclusion that explains why you’ve become a vampire. Přemysl Line 25) A human has to die with vampire blood in their system to become a vampire. Přemysl speaks in a guilty tone. Přemysl Line 26) I helped you when it was too late. Přemysl Line 27) Your body was too tense to properly consume my blood. Přemysl Line 28) It didn’t heal you the way it should’ve. Přemysl speaks in an immense manner of remorse. Přemysl Line 29) I should've done more. I’m so sorry. Ambrož speaks in a somber but reassuring tone. Ambrož Line 30) You did what you thought was right. Don’t blame yourself. Přemysl glances at Ambrož sadly. Přemysl Line 31) The timeline is fitting. It takes 24 hours for a human to transition into a vampire. Přemysl Line 32) It’s been a day since we met. It makes sense why your body was reacting this way. Přemysl Line 33) The transitioning process is extremely painful. I’m sorry you had to endure it. Přemysl Line 34) I immediately knew what you were going through when I saw your eyes. Přemysl looks at Ambrož curiously. Přemysl Line 35) Are you going to go home? Ambrož speaks upsettingly. Ambrož Line 36) I’m a danger to my parents. Přemysl speaks in a reassuring manner. Přemysl Line 37) You’re not a danger to them. Přemysl Line 38) I can’t definitively say that you don’t have the potential to hurt them, but as long as you solely rely on animals to feed yourself, you’ll train your body to make their blood your primary food source. Přemysl speaks in an encouraging tone. Přemysl Line 39) Go to your parents. Don’t keep this a secret from them. They deserve to know. Přemysl Line 40) Your stomach is full. You won’t feel that sensation of hunger until the next day. Přemysl Line 41) Your emotions are heightened tenfold. Trust that your morality will outweigh your impulses. I know for certain that you won’t harm your parents. Přemysl speaks in an assertive manner. Přemysl Line 42) You’re not a monster, Ambrož. We’re not the bloodthirsty sharks they make us out to be in foolish tales. Přemysl Line 43) I know things are rough, but it is what it is. Přemysl Line 44) Your parents are probably worried sick. Want me to walk you home? Ambrož glances at Přemysl desperately. Ambrož Line 45) You have to come home with me. Přemysl looks at Ambrož hesitantly. Přemysl Line 46) Well, then, we should hurry on quickly. The sun will start to rise soon. Přemysl Line 47) Your life won’t be the same from here on out, Ambrož. Přemysl Line 48) There are several things you have to be aware of to live this way. Přemysl speaks in an apologetic tone. Přemysl Line 49) I’m sorry I’ve made it so that your options are limited. Přemysl Line 50) I’ll promise to be there every step of the way to somewhat help you maneuver your way into this life. Přemysl Line 51) It’s the debt I owe to you. Ambrož glances at Přemysl appreciatively. Přemysl Line 52) Lead the way home. Ambrož walks the path that leads to his home, with Přemysl trailing behind him. They finally arrive, with Ambrož knocking on his door hesitantly. He glances at Přemysl with uncertainty. Ambrož’s mother swiftly opens the door for him, looking at him with immense worry engulfing her face. She speaks in a tone of relief. Ambrož’s mother Line 53) Where have you been?! We expected to see you home! Ambrož’s father approaches the door, glancing at Ambrož in relief. Ambrož’s father glances at Přemysl curiously, wondering why Ambrož brought him along. Ambrož’s father Line 54) Who have you brought along with you this late at night? Ambrož speaks in a nervous manner. Ambrož Line 55) This is the person I ran into yesterday that lent me his lantern*. *Refer back to episode 2, line 50. Přemysl chimes in, introducing himself to Ambrož’s parents in a welcoming way. Přemysl Line 56) I’m Přemysl Kajetán. Pleased to make both of your acquaintances. Ambrož’s parents glance at Přemysl skeptically, getting a sense of his peculiar aura. Ambrož speaks in a tone of apprehension. Ambrož Line 57) There’s something I have to explain to you guys. Ambrož’s mother lets Ambrož and Přemysl in. Ambrož and Přemysl try to enter, but are unable to. Ambrož glances at Přemysl in confusion. Ambrož’s father looks at the both of them in disconcertion. Ambrož’s father Line 58) What are you guys waiting for? Come on in. Ambrož and Přemysl set foot in the home, finally able to come inside. Ambrož whispers into Přemysl’s ear, his voice filled with confusion. Ambrož Line 59) What just happened? Přemysl speaks in a low voice. Přemysl Line 60) A vampire cannot freely enter a place until the owner invites them in. Ambrož rubs his head in distress. Ambrož’s mother speaks in an uncertain but friendly manner. Ambrož’s mother Line 61) Would you like something to drink, P-Přemysl? Přemysl speaks in a tone of flattery. Přemysl Line 62) No, thank you, but I sincerely appreciate the offer. All of them seat themselves around the family’s dining area. Ambrož’s father Line 63) What is it that you want to tell us, Amby? Ambrož’s mother speaks in a genuine tone. Ambrož’s mother Line 64) You know you can tell us the truth. Ambrož glances at his parents in hesitation, his eyebrows furrowing in sadness. Přemysl reassuringly pats Ambrož’s shoulder, glancing at him in an encouraging way. Ambrož nods his head, ready to tell his parents the truth. Ambrož Line 65) You guys will have a hard time wrapping your minds around what I’m about to tell you. Ambrož speaks in a hopeless tone. Ambrož Line 66) But I want you guys to promise me something before I confess. Ambrož’s father speaks in a tone of concern. Ambrož’s father Line 67) What is it? Ambrož Line 68) Can you guys promise me that you won’t perceive me any differently, no matter what? Ambrož’s father speaks in a manner of worry Ambrož’s mother Line 69) What’s this talk, Ambrož? You’re making me worried. Ambrož pleads to his parents in desperation. Ambrož Line 70) Just promise me. I’ll explain everything you want to know. Ambrož’s father speaks in a genuine tone. Ambrož’s father Line 71) We won’t look at you any differently. Just say what you need to say. Ambrož nervously swallows, ready to delve into the conversation. Ambrož explains everything to his parents in an upsetting manner. Ambrož Line 72) I’ve undergone a transition. Ambrož Line 73) Yesterday, as I was walking home after work as usual, I heard something in the woods that startled me*. *Refer back to episode 1, details in between lines 97 and 98. Ambrož Line 74) I was so afraid that I ran for my dear life, tripping on a branch and tumbling to the ground*. *Refer back to episode 1, details in between lines 98 and 99. Ambrož Line 75) Next thing I know, I feel excruciating pain paralyze my body*. *Refer back to episode 1, details in between lines 98 and 101. Ambrož Line 76) Přemysl was the one who found me in that state and saved me. Ambrož Line 77) But he saved me in a way none of you guys would have ever imagined. Ambrož Line 78) Přemysl fed me his blood*. His blood has healing powers. *Refer back to episode 1, details listed after line 102. Ambrož Line 79) His blood has healing powers because he’s a vampire. Ambrož glances at his parents in worry, now that the cat is out of the bag. Ambrož’s parents look at Ambrož skeptically. Ambrož Line 80) At first, I thought I didn't feel like myself because I consumed Přemysl's blood*, but that actually proved to be the case. *Refer back to episode 2, line 62 and 63. Ambrož Line 81) I met up with Přemysl a while ago to get closure after what happened between us. Ambrož Line 82) After we wrapped up our conversation, I felt pangs of excruciating pain again, but this time around, the pain felt more heightened than before. Ambrož speaks in a tone of unhappiness. Ambrož Line 83) I was transitioning into a vampire. Ambrož Line 84) I became one because I didn’t consume enough blood when Přemysl tried to save me. Ambrož Line 85) Therefore, I died with vampire blood in my system, turning me into one as well. Moments of silence pass between all of them. Ambrož’s mother speaks in a tone of concern. Ambrož’s mother Line 86) Amby. I think your fever is making you hallucinate things. Ambrož’s father chimes in, speaking in an agreeable manner. Ambrož’s father Line 87) We told you to stay home and take things easy today*. Why didn’t you listen to us? *Refer back to episode 2, line 79, etc. Ambrož’s looks at his parents in a manner of distress. Line 88) Ambrož’s inner thoughts: I knew they wouldn’t believe me. They think I’ve gone crazy*. *Refer back to episode 2, line 60. Ambrož speaks in a tone of desperation. Ambrož Line 89) How do I prove myself to them, Přemysl? Přemysl lets out a sigh of distress. He tries to explain himself to Ambrož’s parents. Přemysl Line 90) Look, I know this sounds like utter nonsense, and there’s no way you guys would believe me since this is the first time we’ve met, but we’re being serious. Ambrož’s parents glance at Přemysl in concern. Přemysl looks at Ambrož. Přemysl Line 91) I won’t hurt them, but will you let me prove myself to them? Ambrož looks at Přemysl with uncertainty. Ambrož Line 92) How? Přemysl speaks in an assertive manner. Přemysl Line 93) Hand me your bag. Ambrož obliges, handing his bag over to Přemysl. Přemysl digs into Ambrož’s bag, grabbing a hold of the clove of garlic (refer back to episode 3, line 10). As his hand touches the garlic, Přemysl tries to endure the pain of the clove scorching his skin. Přemysl shrieks in pain, dropping the clove on the table once he’s had enough. Ambrož’s parents look at Přemysl in concern, standing up in worry. Ambrož’s mother Line 94) What are you doing?! Přemysl shows the burn the garlic left on his hand to Ambrož’s parents. Ambrož’s parents look at Přemysl in disbelief. The burn mark on Přemysl’s hand fades away, healing quickly. Ambrož’s parents’ eyes bulge out of their sockets in shock. Ambrož’s father Line 95) How are you able to do that?! Přemysl Line 96) My body heals itself because I’m a vampire. Přemysl Line 97) As pathetic as it sounds, garlic is our weakness. Přemysl Line 98) It can’t kill us, but it can hurt us immensely. Přemysl Line 99) Do you believe us now? Moments of silence pass between all of them again. Ambrož’s mother speaks in a tone of disbelief. Ambrož’s mother Line 100) That had to have been some sort of magic trick. Přemysl Line 101) It’s not. What else would explain the burn on my hand healing quickly after affliction? Přemysl observes the unconvincing looks on Ambrož’s parents' faces. Přemysl Line 102) The sun shall be coming up any moment now. Přemysl Line 103) Will you guys believe me if I show you I can’t go in it? End of episode.
