Ambrož passes out from running in fright, feeling startled by the sound of mysterious shuffling in the woods he walks through to get home. A mysterious person helps Ambrož in quite a peculiar way by forcing him to drink their blood after self-inflicting pain onto themselves. The person has quite a strange appearance, too, with a pale complexion, deep crimson eyes, and purple veins that are very apparent to the eye (refer back to episode 1, details in lines 94"102). Some time has passed ever since Ambrož passed out, with the person who helped him waiting beside him until he wakes up, holding a gas lantern. Ambrož abruptly sits up, finally being awakened after an hour of unconsciousness. The person looks at Ambrož in surprise, feeling relieved to see him awake. They speak in a friendly and childish tone. Person Line 1) I’m glad you’re finally awake! Ambrož looks at the person in fear, remembering what they had done to him (forcing him to consume their blood). Ambrož gets up in a brisk manner, running away from the person after swiftly gathering his belongings. As Ambrož tries to run away, the person quickly blocks Ambrož’s way, running faster than him in a superhuman manner, grabbing ahold of their lantern to shine light. Ambrož looks at the person in disbelief, his eyes bulging out of their sockets. Ambrož falls back in fright, feeling unnerved by this person. The person speaks in an offended manner. Person Line 2) Why did you try to run away? I waited an hour for you to wake up. Ambrož speaks in a tone of panic. Ambrož Line 3) W-What are you? The person looks Ambrož up and down, feeling irritated by his rude question. Person Line 4) I saved your life, and you repay me with your impolite manners? Ambrož looks at the person in disconcertion. Ambrož Line 5) Saved my life? You made me drink your blood! The person gets hit with a wave of realization, speaking in a friendly manner, anticipating understandment from Ambrož. Person Line 6) I understand why that may seem weird from a bird’s eye view, but if you allow me to explain everything, I’m sure things will make sense. Ambrož speaks in a manner of concern. Ambrož Line 7) You waited an hour for me to wake up? Mom and Dad are probably worried sick about me. The person speaks in a reassuring manner. Person Line 8) I’m sure they aren’t worried. They’ll just assume that you got off of work late. Ambrož looks at the person in confusion. Ambrož Line 9) Do you know me? The person speaks in a confident tone. Person Line 10) You’re a worker. Your uniform says it all. Ambrož gets hit with a wave of realization from the person’s remark. Person Line 11) The fact that you passed out says a lot too. Factory workers constantly experience work exhaustion. The person speaks in an excited manner. Person Line 12) You were at the brink of death. Good thing I stepped in to save you, right? Ambrož Line 13) By forcing me to drink your blood? The person praises Ambrož’s smarts. Person Line 14) Correct! You catch on quick! Ambrož speaks in a manner of fright. Ambrož Line 15) You’re not gonna hurt me, right? The person speaks in a sinister tone, slowly walking closer to Ambrož, shining their lantern onto him. Person Line 16) That depends. Do I have a reason to hurt you? Ambrož backs away from the person, feeling immensely scared. He frantically shakes his head no, feeling like his life is on the line. The person speaks in a light-hearted manner. Person Line 17) I was just joking. I wouldn’t hurt a fly. Ambrož nervously laughs, speaking in a curious manner. Ambrož Line 18) Who are you? Why does your blood heal? The person smiles in a mischievous manner. Person Line 19) It’s a long story. Perhaps, better suited for telling another time. Ambrož looks at the person in confusion. Ambrož Line 20) I don’t understand. I’ve never encountered anything like this before. The person speaks in a boastful manner. Person Line 21) Of course, you haven’t. I’m a rare species. Ambrož speaks in a manner of disbelief. Ambrož Line 22) Species? You’re just a kid. Are you not human? Person Line 23) Like I said. I’ll tell you another time. Get back home to your parents. It’s late. The person speaks in an assertive manner, giving Ambrož a warning. Person Line 24) Not a word about what happened tonight. Not unless you want to regret it. Ambrož swiftly agrees, feeling scared by the person’s warning. Ambrož Line 25) O-Okay. T-Thank you for helping me. The person smiles at Ambrož happily. Person Line 26) Your welcome… A wave of realization comes across the person’s mind. Person Line 27) I didn’t ask for your name. What is it? Ambrož speaks in a hesitant manner. Ambrož Line 28) It’s Ambrož. The person speaks in a delighted tone. Person Line 29) Huh~ Cool name. I’ll see you later, Ambrož. The person speaks in an alluring way. Person Line 30) Come back to this very spot at night if you’re interested in knowing more about me. The person approaches Ambrož, handing him his lantern Person Line 31) Take my lantern. You need light to get back home in the dark night since your rushlight went out. Ambrož speaks in a tone of shock. Ambrož Line 32) I can’t take your lantern. This must’ve cost a fortune.
