Sotsona and Casimir continue to talk in their bed fort while watching movies. Casimir mentions they plan a renaissance themed wedding. He speaks to Sotsona in a reassuring voice, shocked by her quick agreement to his suggestion. Casimir Line 1) You’re really okay with that? Sotsona speaks in a cheerful tone. Sotsona Line 2) Yeah. I think it’s a fun idea. Sotsona Line 3) Who wouldn’t want to come to a renaissance-themed wedding? Casimir Line 4) You’d be surprised. People will think we’re weird. Sotsona Line 5) We kind of are, though. I think it suits us. Sotsona Line 6) So, what do you say? Does it sound like a plan? Casimir smiles at Sotsona. Sotsona extends her hand out to Casimir for him to shake it for their deal. Casimir speaks in a certain voice. Casimir Line 7) Sounds like a plan. Casimir shakes Sotsona’s hand and they smile at each other. Casimir Line 8) I'm glad you pointed this out early so I can make a few changes to the wedding plans we instilled so far. Sotsona gets hit with a wave of realization. She speaks in an apologetic tone. Sotsona Line 9) Oh. Sorry that mentioning this clashed with what you’ve already planned out. Casimir hugs Sotsona from the side, leaning his head on her shoulder. He speaks in a reassuring voice. Casimir Line 10) That’s okay. It doesn’t clash with anything. Don’t worry about it. I just want to zhuzh things up for the theme. Sotsona smiles at Casimir appreciatively. Sotsona Line 11) Thank you for hearing me out. Casimir Line 12) Come on. That’s the bare minimum. Sotsona playfully squeezes Casimir’s facial cheek. Sotsona Line 13) Still, thank you. Casimir speaks in a curious tone. Casimir Line 14) Do you have any plans for what you want to do tomorrow? Casimir Line 15) Is there some place you want to go? Sotsona remembers what Celestyn mentioned to her earlier. Sotsona Line 16) Celestyn mentioned the idea of us going biking with our coworkers*. *Refer back to episode 88, line 45. Sotsona Line 17) Do you remember what I mentioned, I think, the day before my birthday, about how the rest of our coworkers go biking together every month*? *Refer back to episode 69, line 81. This rings a bell within Casimir. He nods his head in remembrance. Sotsona Line 18) Celestyn invited for us to go with them. Casimir looks at Sotsona in surprise. Casimir Line 19) They want me to come? Sotsona nervously scratches her head, speaking in a hesitant tone. Sotsona Line 20) Uh. Not exactly. Sotsona Line 21) Celestyn asked if I wanted to go, and then I asked her if you could come… Sotsona Line 22) She said she can’t stop me from bringing you along, but she’d rather have you not come. Sotsona continues to justify herself. Sotsona Line 23) But only because she thinks that it’ll make the rest of our coworkers feel uncomfortable. Sotsona Line 24) After all, you are the CEO. Sotsona Line 25) It’s only natural for them to be tense in front of their boss. Sotsona looks at Casimir in a serious way, wanting to make sure that her explanation didn’t hurt his feelings. She grabs his face, looking at him sentimentally. She speaks in an apologetic tone. Sotsona Line 26) I’m sorry if saying that hurts your feelings. Casimir offers Sotsona a reassuring smile. Casimir Line 27) It doesn’t. It’s not like you’re the one that said that. Sotsona looks at Casimir nervously. Casimir looks back at Sotsona in a questioning manner. Casimir Line 28) Wait, you agree with Celestyn? Sotsona puts her arms up in a “spare me” pose. She nervously explains herself. Sotsona Line 29) U-Uh. To an extent. Casimir drops his shoulders sadly and places his hand on his chin, looking away from Sotsona. Sotsona grabs his shoulders, trying to reason with him. Sotsona Line 30) Listen. I’m just saying that I agree that they’ll be uncomfortable around you. Sotsona speaks in an encouraging manner. Sotsona Line 31) But, it’s not too late to change that dynamic. Sotsona Line 32) You can paint yourself as their chill boss during this trip. Sotsona Line 33) What do you think? Try to change the mood with them. Casimir looks back at Sotsona, smiling at her cheerfully. Casimir Line 34) You really think I could do that? Sotsona smiles at Casimir. Sotsona Line 35) Of course, you can. Plus, you can hang out with Celestyn too, and have some quality sibling time with her. Sotsona Line 36) Erase that stigma the others might have of you. Casimir Line 37) So, we should go? Sotsona nods her head. Casimir excitingly smiles at her. Sotsona speaks in a serious tone. Sotsona Line 38) But, we should address the elephant in the room. Casimir looks at Sotsona in confusion. Casimir Line 39) What elephant? Sotsona Line 40) We will have to arrive on our own and stay away from each other the entire day. Casimir looks at Sotsona in defeat. Sotsona Line 41) You can’t be romantic with me or try to make any advances while we’re there. Sotsona Line 42) Just simply interact with me like I’m your employee. Sotsona Line 43) I can’t be Sotsona, your fiance. I have to be Sotsona, staff of Adair. Sotsona Line 44) Sure, Celestyn and Yuvin know about us, but the both of them have been doing a good job of keeping our relationship under wraps. Sotsona Line 45) We haven’t been near each other while we work since you’re always so busy in your office, which is why the rest of the staff hasn’t caught on to the fact that we’re getting married. Sotsona Line 46) And that is why we have to retain that profile. Sotsona Line 47) We can’t let the rest of them know that we’re a couple. Sotsona Line 48) At least not yet. Sotsona Line 49) They’re bound to know once we get married, though. Sotsona Line 50) But, until then, it still has to remain a secret. And we must do everything to keep it hidden. Casimir nods his head in understandment. Sotsona remembers their compromise. Line 51) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: But, I wanted to give Casimir a compromise*. *Refer back to episode 79, line 100, and episode 80, line 1. Line 52) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: He built this fort, but this is something he did for me, saying it was the compromise*. *Refer back to episode 88, line 56. Line 53) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: I’ve done nothing for him that I promised I would. Line 54) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: He keeps stepping in and doing things for me instead. Line 55) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: That’s just not right. Line 56) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: I promised I would owe him something. Line 57) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: Wouldn't publicizing our relationship be the best way to repay him*? *Refer back to episode 78, line 35. Line 58) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: But, then again, that isn’t something I can just do on a whim. Line 59) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: It affects Casimir’s reputation. Line 60) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: It’ll cause our very private relationship to be known to the world. Line 61) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: How else will we then be able to spend time with each other like we have been doing? Line 62) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: Casimir is a public figure, it’s best we think this through rather than put Adair in jeopardy. Line 63) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: The best way to show the public that we’re legit is going through with our marriage. Line 64) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: That’s when we can safely let the world in on our relationship. Line 65) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: And it will be taken seriously since we have our marriage to prove our authenticity. Line 66) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: That’ll also be a prime time for us to set some boundaries with the public. I’m sure they’ll catch onto how it’s common decency to leave married couples alone. Line 67) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: There’s so much we have to take into consideration before we proclaim our relationship to to world. Sotsona grabs Casimir’s hands. Sotsona speaks in an apologetic tone. Sotsona Line 68) It must be killing you to wait many more months until that’s dealt with. Sotsona Line 69) I’m sorry that I promised to give you a compromise and never did anything. Sotsona Line 70) I don’t know what I can do to make things up to you. Sotsona Line 71) I was thinking we could publicize our relationship earlier, but that seems like a rookie move. Sotsona looks at Casimir sentimentally. Casimir looks at Sotsona understandingly. He speaks in a genuine tone. Casimir Line 72) I’ve thought it through, and you’re right about that. Casimir Line 73) As much as I want us to publicize our relationship, I understand that we can’t do that so easily. I can wait, it’s no problem. Casimir Line 74) And you already fulfilled your compromise by watching movies with me today. You don’t owe me anything. Sotsona speaks in a dismissive tone. Sotsona Line 75) That doesn’t count. I want to do something for you, whether you think I owe you anything or not. Sotsona speaks in a hopeful manner. Sotsona Line 76) I can’t think of any ideas right now, but I promise to figure something out as soon as possible. Sotsona Line 77) But, back on the subject of going biking with our coworkers… Sotsona Line 78) Is that still something you want to do, even if it means we can’t act like a couple in front of everyone? Casimir nods his head in assurance. Casimir Line 79) We haven’t seen much of each other all weekend. I don’t want to let you go again. Casimir Line 80) Even if it means we can’t act like a couple, I at least want to see you. Casimir Line 81) Plus, you said I should remove the scary boss stigma for my employees. Casimir Line 82) So, that’s exactly what I plan on doing, along with bonding with my sister. Sotsona smiles at Casimir. Sotsona Line 83) If you say so. They continue watching the movies and eventually wrap up their night. They get situated in bed together, sleeping in a cuddling position. The morning rolls around, and they get ready for the biking trip. The day is June 9th, 2024. It’s a Sunday morning. Sotsona and Casimir get dressed in active-wear clothes. Sotsona gets hit with a wave of realization. Sotsona Line 84) This is so stupid, but now that I think about it, I don’t have a bike. Sotsona Line 85) Could I just rent one? Would that be enough? Casimir Line 86) You do realize that we’re going to the mountains, right? Sotsona Line 87) So what? Casimir Line 88) A regular bike won’t be able to endure rugged terrains. That’s why you need a mountain bike. Sotsona speaks in a hopeful manner. Sotsona Line 89) Do rented bikes offer mountain ones too? Casimir laughs. Casimir Line 90) Not the ones on the streets. But, lucky for you. I have multiple selections of bikes that you can choose from. Sotsona speaks in a shocked tone. Sotsona Line 91) So, not only do you have a collection of cars, but you also have a collection of bikes. Casimir Line 92) You never noticed them in my garage? Sotsona shakes her head no obliviously. Casimir Line 93) Well, then, I guess you’re just going to have to see it for yourself. Casimir leads Sotsona over to his bike display in the garage, showcasing various kinds of bikes to choose from. Sotsona’s jaw drops in shock. Casimir responds in an amusing tone. Casimir Line 94) So, do you see anything you like? Sotsona Line 95) Do you own something that isn’t flashy? Sotsona Line 96) How am I supposed to explain to the rest of them that simple old me owns a cool-a*s bike? Casimir laughs. Casimir Line 97) You have a point. So, then, how about this one? Casimir points to a less lavish bike from his collection. It’s an iridescent black bike with silver fire flame decor around it. Sotsona speaks in a surprised tone. Sotsona Line 98) Is that the most toned-down bike you own? Casimir Line 99) Pretty much. Sotsona sighs. Sotsona Line 100) I guess it’ll do. Sotsona gets all her items packed up along with the bikes, and heads outside with Casimir accompanying her. Casimir speaks in a reassuring tone. Casimir Line 101) Are you sure you don’t want me to take you there? Sotsona Line 102) How will I explain to the others that you offered me a ride? Casimir sighs in annoyance. Sotsona speaks in a sorry tone. Sotsona Line 103) Sorry, but taking a taxi is the safest bet. The taxi Sotsona ordered arrives. She places the bike on the back of the taxi’s ramp, holding her bag of belongings. Casimir opens the taxi door for Sotsona. She steps into the taxi, and Casimir swiftly kisses her cheek. Sotsona looks at Casimir, feeling flustered with her hand over the part he kissed. Casimir looks back at Sotsona joyfully. He speaks in an affectionate tone. Casimir Line 104) See you soon. The taxi driver drives off to the biking location. Casimir waves Sotsona off and she blushes, waving back at him. Line 105) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: Hopefully the taxi driver doesn’t know who Casimir is. Sotsona thinks to herself.
