At the rooftop of the rented dancing room, Sotsona and Casimir share a kiss, leading her into wanting to confess to something.

Episode 68:

April 7th 2024. The day is a Sunday. It’s the nighttime. 

Casimir and Sotsona pull back from each other after their kiss.

The both of them look at each other flusteredly, trying to remain cool to prevent any awkwardness.

Casimir leans on Sotsona’s shoulder, intimately holding her hand.

Casimir

Line 1) That night I kissed you. Just like this*. 

*Refer back to episode 39, details in between lines 93 and 94.

Casimir looks at Sotsona curiously.

Casimir

Line 2) You don’t remember, don’t you?

Sotsona hesitantly shakes her head no.

Casimir

Line 3) I figured. I mean, you did black out.

Casimir laughs, reminiscing on Sotsona’s drunk behavior (refer back to all of episode 39).

Casimir

Line 4) But now you know the truth. 

Casimir

Line 5) I concealed the truth all this time because I felt guilty kissing you too early.

Casimir

Line 6) That explains why I would get flustered whenever you mentioned it, right?

Casimir looks at Sotsona shamefully, hoping she isn’t mad at him.

Casimir

Line 7) Are you mad that I didn’t tell you?

Sotsona shakes her head no without any hesitations.

Casimir nervously justifies himself.

Casimir

Line 8) It honestly didn’t feel out of the blue for me to kiss you back then, though.

Casimir

Line 9) It felt like the perfect moment. Even though we were both drunk, so maybe I wasn’t in my right mind*. But it sure felt like I was.

*Remember that the both of them ordered champagne before landing in Palau (refer back to episode 36, line 88).

Sotsona blushes before asking her question, letting her curiosity get the best of her.

Sotsona

Line 10) Did I kiss you back?

Casimir blushes.

Casimir

Line 11) Yeah. You did.

Sotsona;s face flushes red.

Sotsona

Line 12) So… My first kiss was the night we landed in Palau?

Casimir shamefully nods his head.

Casimir

Line 13) I’m sincerely sorry you don’t remember.

Sotsona

Line 14) Don’t worry. That’s my own doing.

Sotsona thinks about her kiss with Casimir just now.

She blushes immensely, feeling tense.

Line 15) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: His lips were soft.

Line 16) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: I’ve never been so affectionate with anyone in my whole entire life.

Line 17) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: It felt so intimate. I didn’t know what to expect. But now I understand why people make a big deal out of these kinds of things.

Sotsona shyly smiles.

Sotsona

Line 18) That’s history now. You, Casimir Adair, are my first kiss.

Casimir flusteredly smiles, slipping in an impulsive remark.

Casimir

Line 19) Get used to that feeling.

Sotsona looks bashful.

Casimir

Line 20) That won’t be the last time I do something like this to you again.

Sotsona’s heart thumps rapidly.

Line 21) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: My heart is in my throat.

Line 22) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: The butterflies in my stomach are squirming all over the place.

Casimir speaks in a smug manner.

Casimir

Line 23) I confessed to my thing. Now, it’s your turn.

Sotsona looks nervous.

She panics on the inside.

Line 24) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: Oh no! I can’t tell Casimir that I think I’m in love with him*.

*Refer back to episode 62, line 48.

Line 25) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: We just had our first kiss.

Line 26) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: We’ve only known each other for a short amount of time.

Sotsona rubs her head in distress.

Line 27) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: How could I say I love him?

Line 28) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: It’s far too soon.

Line 29) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: I could also be burdening him if he doesn’t feel the same way.

Line 30) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: Make up an excuse.

Casimir speaks in a reassuring tone.

Casimir

Line 31) Although, I’ve only been back for two days…

Casimir

Line 32) I can tell there’s something you’re holding back on telling me*.

*Refer back to episode 63, line 90.

Casimir

Line 33) Something huge that you’ve realized recently.

Casimir notices how worried Sotsona looks.

He speaks to her in a comforting manner.

Casimir

Line 34) Based on that expression on your face, I’m assuming it’s something you don’t want to fess up to.

Casimir gently caresses Sotsona’s face.

He looks at her sentimentally and softly kisses her forehead.

He gazes into her eyes affectionately.

Sotsona’s eyebrows soften, feeling Casimir’s devotion.

The both of them blush immensely at each other.

Casimir speaks in a reassuring manner.

Casimir

Line 35) I can wait.

Casimir

Line 36) If you think it’s too soon to tell me, then don’t feel urged to reveal anything now.

Casimir

Line 37) We’re taking things easy.

Casimir

Line 38) Even though we did something quite grandiose today.

Casimir

Line 39) Baby steps. One page at a time.

Casimir joyfully smiles at Sotsona

Sotsona bittersweetly smiles at Casimir.

She speaks in an assertive tone.

Sotsona

Line 40) I’ll tell you today.

Sotsona

Line 41) After everything you’ve done for me, you deserve to know.

Sotsona speaks in a cautious tone.

Sotsona

Line 42) But before I tell you, just agree on one thing.

Sotsona

Line 43) You have to agree that knowing what I’m about to tell you has the ability to potentially burden you.

Sotsona

Line 44) If you’re okay with taking that risk, then I’ll let you know what I’ve been holding back.

Sotsona

Line 45) But if it’s something you’re not ready to talk about, then I’ll hold off.

Casimir smiles appreciatively and pets Sotsona’s head to assure her.

Casimir

Line 46) I can tell that bottling this up is hard for you.

Casimir speaks in a genuine tone.

Casimir

Line 47) Whatever you may say won’t ever burden me.

Casimir

Line 48) I can assure you that.

Casimir

Line 49) Don’t tackle this alone.

Casimir

Line 50) Remember our contract*?

*Refer back to episode 9, details after line 1.

Casimir grabs ahold of Sotsona’s hands, holding them close to his chest.

Sotsona blushes.

Casimir speaks in a soft tone.

Casimir

Line 51) We’re in this together.

Casimir

Line 52) I am going to be here for you…

Casimir

Line 53) No matter what.

Sotsona’s eyebrows soften from Casimir’s sentimental words, feeling touched.

She gently touches his face, caressing his cheek.

Casimir is caught off-guard by this move, but delicately holds Sotsona’s hand as she touches his face.

The both of them blush at each other.

Sotsona glances at Casimir shyly.

Sotsona

Line 54) Just give me a moment to muster up enough courage to tell you.

Casimir wholesomely smiles.

Casimir

Line 55) Of course. You’re taking a big step. I’m proud of you for the initiative.

A moment of silence passes between them as Sotsona tries to pull herself together.

Line 56) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: I’m going to tell him today.

Sotsona deeply breaths in and out.

Line 57) Sotsona’s inner thoughts: Here goes nothing.

Sotsona looks at Casimir’s face in a focused manner.

Sotsona

Line 58) I’ve only realized this a couple of days ago, so bear with me.

Sotsona speaks tenderly.

Sotsona

Line 59) Ever since you’ve come into my life, I’ve been given the things I’ve always wanted and needed.

Sotsona

Line 60) All I could ever dream of was able to happen because of you.

Sotsona

Line 61) I was waiting for a miracle*, and it happened the moment you set foot in that restaurant*.

Sotsona

Line 62) It’s apparent how devoted you are to me. I feel that on a spiritual level.

Sotsona

Line 63) Not only that, but you take avid approaches into trying to further understand me.

Sotsona feels touched.

Sotsona

Line 64) To get closer with me, because you care about me.

Sotsona speaks in an authentic manner.

Sotsona

Line 65) And I care about you too.

Sotsona

Line 66) You’ve become such an important part of my life.

Sotsona

Line 67) You filled all the voids in my heart that I thought were impossible to restore.

Sotsona

Line 68) Words can’t describe how much I adore you.

Sotsona

Line 69) In other words… I think I’m in love with you.

Casimir moves his face closer to Sotsona, intently glancing at her.

Sotsona flinches from the abrupt gesture.

Sotsona

Line 70) Woah! That scared me!

Sotsona nervously smiles.

Sotsona

Line 71) Are you alright?!

Casimir continues to stare at Sotsona in disbelief.

Sotsona starts laughing uncontrollably after her confession.

She places her hand on her chest.

Sotsona

Line 72) Oh my gosh! I feel so light!

Sotsona

Line 73) I’m glad I ripped the bandaid off.

Sotsona stands up, screaming off the top of the roof in celebration.

Sotsona

Line 74) I JUST TOLD MY MAN I LOVE HIM!

Casimir happily smiles at Sotsona, enjoying the moment between them.

She sits back down, feeling giddy.

She releases an exciting sigh.

Casimir observes her demeanor adoringly.

Line 75) Casimir’s inner thoughts: She’s so confident now.

Line 76) Casimir’s inner thoughts: This must’ve been hard to keep in.

Line 77) Casimir’s inner thoughts: She’s so strong for telling me.

Sotsona playfully nudges Casimir’s chest with her elbow.

Sotsona

Line 78) So? What do you think?

As Casimir looks at Sotsona lovingly, he can’t help but feel the need to reply in a smug manner, folding his arms and raising his eyebrows playfully.

Casimir

Line 79) Um… Good for you? I guess?

Casimir’s lips curl into a mischievous smile.

Sotsona understands Casimir’s jokey memo.

He affectionately holds her hands, looking her in the eye and speaking in a sentimental manner.

Casimir

Line 80) Thank you for telling me.

Casimir

Line 81) It means a lot. I can tell your feelings are genuine.

Despite trying to contain his emotions, Casimir can't help but feel slightly choked up.

His eyes start to formulate tears.

Sotsona senses the mood, rubbing Casimir’s back consolingly.

Casimir speaks in a sappy tone, his voice slightly cracking.

Casimir

Line 82) It’s been a while since anyone has told me that.

Sotsona leans into Casimir, offering his a tender kiss on the cheek. 

She speaks in a reassuring manner.

Sotsona

Line 83) Well, get used to it because it won’t be the last time I say it.

Casimir notices that Sotsona is using his own words against him again (refer back to lines 19 and 20 of this episode).

They laugh with each other at the irony.

Sotsona gently wipes the tears that streamed down Casimir’s face.

He looks at her affectionately.

She speaks in a curious tone.

Sotsona

Line 84) Did you know I was going to tell you that?

Casimir

Line 85) I had another hunch again.

Casimir

Line 86) Remember when I told you that it’s a feeling where “when you know you know”?*

*Refer back to episode 59, line 94.

Sotsona nods her head, thinking back to the memory of when they rented a boat out in Palau (refer back to episode 59, line 35).

Casimir

Line 87) I had a feeling that I knew that you knew you knew ever since I came back from my trip.

Casimir

Line 88) That’s quite the tongue twister, but you get what I mean, right?

Sotsona laughs and nods her head.

Casimir pets Sotsona’s head.

He speaks in a shameful tone.

Casimir

Line 89) Can you wait for me?

Sotsona assuringly nods her head.

She speaks in an assertive tone.

Sotsona

Line 90) Don’t feel pressured.

Sotsona

Line 91) People process things differently.

Sotsona

Line 92) I’ll wait for as long as you need me too.

Sotsona

Line 93) Just like you’ve said you’re here for me I’m here for you too.

Sotsona happily hugs Casimir.

He tightly hugs her back passionately, speaking in an appreciative tone.

Casimir

Line 94) Thank you for being so understanding.

Sotsona looks at Casimir with puppy dog eyes.

Sotsona

Line 95) It’s the least I could do after all you’ve done for me.

Casimir’s eyebrows furrow in pleasant temptation.

Casimir

Line 96) When you look at me like that, I just want to-

Casimir gently grabs Sotsona’s face, leaning in to kiss her again.

They let their lips get used to each other's, letting them naturally immerse and savor each other’s mouths passionately.

They blush immensely at each other and pull back, caught in a trance-like state after their intimacy.

Sotsona laughs.

Sotsona

Line 97) You weren’t kidding when you said this wasn’t going to be the last time you would do something like this.

Casimir

Line 98) Don’t forget that I’m a man of my word.

Sotsona playfully rolls her eyes.

Sotsona

Line 99) What movie did you steal that cliché line from?

Casimir grabs Sotsona’s face again, smothering her in kisses.

Casimir’s narration:

Line 100) I’ve never felt so connected with someone in such a short amount of time.

Line 101) I felt like I’ve known her all my life.

Line 102) And now we’re able to be with each other at peace.

Line 103) I’m not holding back one bit.

Line 104) We deserve to give each other all the love in the world.
